  • 4694 Forsyth Rd Macon, GA 31210, USA - Macon
coming from Wesleyan drive sitting at the traffic light at the railroad tracks, the light for traffic traveling on Forsyth Road stays green for a very long time, even when there is no traffic. Once the light turns green to cross the RR tracks from Wesleyan to Tucker, there are only about 7 cars that get through before the light turns red. timing needs to be adjusted

Mumford Road Macon, GA - Macon
Waiting on Mumford Road to cross over Napier Avenue the traffic signal does not sense vehicles waiting and takes longer than needed to change from red to green, even if there are no cars in either direction on Napier Avenue.
  • Forsyth Road Macon, Georgia - Macon
Recently there was some work done on the railroad tracks between Forsyth Road and Rivioli. The track that crosses to Tucker Road is very un-even and bumpy. I go over the tracks several times per day and my car is knocked out of line more and more each day. Traffic has been slowed down immensely when going from Tucker Road toward Wesleyan. This needs to be scrapped and smoothed out so that traffic can flow smoothly.
  • New Forsyth Road Macon, Georgia - US Congressional District GA8
At the intersection of Bass Road and New Forsyth Road the road need to be re-paved and smooth over. In any direction from the 4 way stop sign the pavement is very bumpy and should be re-paved. Bass Road headed to Riverside Drive is exceptionally bumpy to the point where it feels like it knocks my alignment off on my vehicle.
  • Pio Nono Lane Macon, Georgia - Macon
When headed toward downtown on Roff Avenue, you come to the traffic signal at the intersection. With Pio Nono Avenue. The traffic signal takes a long time to turn from rex to green giving the ability to turn left onto Pio Nono Ave.
  • New Forsyth Road At Bass Road Macon, Georgia - Macon-Bibb County
A traffic signal placed at New Forsyth Road and Bass Road that is coordinated with the traffic signals at Bass Road and I75N, Bass Road and I75S, Bass Road and Bowman Road, would help tremendously with morning school traffic into and out of ACE. Leaving ACE, a Right Turn only is allowed which puts you back on New Forsyth Road headed to Monroe County. Currently it is set up where after making the right turn onto New Forsyth Road, you then make a left turn to go through Bass Pro Shop road to come out at the traffic light by McDonalds. Turning Right onto Bass Road headed toward the interstate is congested but the traffic lights keep traffic moving. Unfortunately for me, I have to turn left at the traffic light at McDonalds because I work at 1738 Bass Road so I endure getting back into the traffic to go to the four way stop sign which adds about 15 minutes to a 3 minute route from ACE. I was hopeful that a traffic signal would be installed over the summer but school has started and now many parents and other people who are just passing through trying to get to work and other places, are stuck waiting. The afternoons are MUCH worse as there is no movement of the traffic until about 3:20 or so. I understand that things will begin flowing a bit smoother as the days go by and a routine is in place.

  • 1175-2207 Tucker Road Macon, Georgia - Macon-Bibb County
While on Foster Rd waiting at the traffic light to make a left hand turn onto Tucker Rd, the light sometimes takes well over 3 minutes to change even when no cars are coming in either direction. This is normally after 10pm at night.
  • 4690 Forsyth Road Macon, Georgia - Macon
The traffic light at the corner of Tucker Rd and Forsyth Rd has a posted sign, "No Turn on Red" when making a right hand turn from Tucker to Forsyth. Traffic backs up considerably in the mornings and evenings. If the right turn signal can be added to coordinate with the Left turn signal when turning from Forsyth, left onto Tucker, that would make the mornings a whole lot easier.
