    It is mid July and our streets and storm drains in Echo Hill have not been cleaned yet. The town maintains the streets by cleaning them all, in a specified rotating order each spring. Why has this not occurred this year?

    Echo Hill South still has not had street cleaning! When will that occur?!

    Drainage problems in the streets along Stony Hill Road and dangerous road conditions (during wet times) is ongoing. The problem is caused by the fact that the town does not maintain their property - ie. the islands/verges in Echo Hill South. All of the town islands need to be raked and the leaves on them and along the sides in the street need to be hauled away. This is the responsibility of the Town of Amherst and the zoning department has weighed in on this fact.
