The building next to the Bromerski parking lot on the SW side ofWarren and Sussex. The building has a shed in front of is, but there are no permits posted. Directly next door to the north is a bigger construction shed for 2 buildings that do have Building and Historic permits, so it might appear that this is one shed for 3 permitted buildings, but it’s not. The photo shows the new cornice the owner has installed and since this is a historic district, they should have approvals from the Historic and Construction offices.

I would have happily looked up the permits for this building, but Tyler( the portal) would not let me sign up. I tried and when it didn’t recognize my PW I attempted to change it. Then I got a message saying my email doesn’t exist. I then tried to sign up again and it says, sorry, that email already exists. I’m in a deathloop here.

Dumpster permit posted states 155 Grand only. There are 2 dumpsters- in front of 157, 155, 153 and they have cones and cinderblocks in front of 151 and 159 Grand. They are taking 5 parking spaces. On Monday they poured concrete with a truck that was backed onto the sidewalk in the intersection at Van Vorst, backing up eastbound traffic during rush hour. There appear to be construction permits posted in the window, but I’m not trespassing to read them. I would appreciate your doing that to assure they have permits for construction.

There was a fire in this building a couple months ago and they’ve been doing work on it. Owner dumped large furniture items on sidewalk and in front area.

Exterior stairs being demolished in a historic district. No visible permit.

Nearby school put out recycling at 8:30 am - put out /pick up is after 5pm. Boxes not broken down or tied.

Rubble left at installation of utility pole. Previously reported in 4/5/21; nothing has changed.

Soil piled around new utility pole.

Traffic sign fell in storm. Lying on sidewalk. We put a cone on the metal stump.

City receptacle hasn’t been emptied in over a week. People now using recycle can for trash too. NE corner Sussex/VanVorst streets.

Garbage and trash under tree. A repeat issue.
