165 Main St Burlington, VT, 05401, USA - Burlington Electric
Slip hazard--Slippery grease spill oozing out onto sidewalk just to north of 161 Church St.
  • 235-273 College St Burlington, VT, 05401, USA - Burlington Electric
Heavily-used section of College St. sidewalk, south side, from Winooski Ave. to Library entrance is dangerously icy and not drained. A drainage passage punched out through the snowbank at some low-lying point to the street for drainage and a salt/sand application would be time and materials well-spent. Thanks!
  • Water Leak Archived
1-23 Catherine St Burlington, VT, 05401, USA - Burlington Electric
Icing, wet, deep pothole just to west of fire hydrant at corner of Hayward and Catherine Streets. Please cf. archived Issue ID: 5337025.

Traffic lights at the intersection of Rte. 7, IDX and Holmes was cycling through Rte. 7 pedestrian crossing and Rte. 7 cross-traffic without either pedestrians or cross-traffic present (on Monday, 31 Dec.).

Sidewalk obstructed by both parking and vegetative overgrowth (including a patch of invasive knotweed).
  • Calahan Park Burlington, Vermont - Burlington Electric
Invasive Buckthorn establishing toehold in Calahan Park. Photo was taken just south of the tennis courts. (Any thought about Parks Department sponsoring a fall clean-up with volunteers from the neighborhood armed with their landscaping tools?)
  • Drainage Archived
Opposite 11 Elmwood Avenue Burlington, Vermont - Burlington Electric
    Catch Basin not draining
  • 81 Marble Ave. Burlington, Vermont - Burlington Electric

  • 272 Church St. Burlington, Vermont - Burlington Electric
Box elder vs. single electrical wire
  • Opposite 272 Church St. Burlington, Vermont - Burlington Electric
Support cable ruptured on electrical line to pole-mounted lamp. (May need to expand photo to see ends dangling against the contrast of the two northwestern-most chimneys.)

    Under-supported, high-energy electrical drop conduit.
  • Idx Drive South Burlington, Vermont - South Burlington

    Thanks!

  • Idx Dr. South Burlington, Vermont - South Burlington
Sidewalk overgrown with vegetation for majority of street (upper/eastern end).
  • 109 Maple St. Burlington, Vermont - Burlington Electric
Plants need pruning to allow access along sidewalk.
  • Se Corner So.Winooski Ave./King St. Burlington, Vermont - Burlington Electric
Here's just one of the many storm basins along lower sections of the city which are clogged with debris from recent rainfall event. (Not exactly street OR sidewalk)
  • 237 Shelburne Road (N Side Of E End Of Birchcliff Pkwy) Burlington, Vermont - Burlington Electric
Here's the Scylla to the Charybdis of issue # 4364161. While I appreciate the effort and expense entailed in investing in in-ground sprinklers (although not in the city's right of way), the sidewalk across the street is unusable 24/7 necessitating walking between parked vehicles and active traffic when the water is pouring up from the very greenbelt.
  • Church And Pearl Burlington, Vermont - Burlington Electric
Sign and post removed leaving stub as trip hazard.

374 St. Paul St. Burlington, Vermont - Burlington Electric
Extensive renovation of apartment with large glue-lam beams in, and old construction debris out, and piled on site without evidence of building (or zoning) permit.
  • King/St. Paul Streets Sw Corner Burlington, Vermont - Burlington Electric
Temporary "Detour" sign is placed too near crosswalk obscuring view of pedestrians crossing the only functional north-south crosswalk. Please consider having it moved farther west nearer the "No Parking Here to Corner" sign for better visibility. Thanks!
  • Pine St. North Of Maple St. Burlington, Vermont - Burlington Electric
The 30 March notice posted herein and on FPF ("April Construction Update: Maple/Pine/St. Paul/Colchester") notes "Pine St will be one way north of Maple until June". Will this be one way north- or south-bound? And between Maple St. and ????? Thanks for posting this in advance so we can plan our daily commutes with minimal disruption (to us, to our appointments, as well as to the construction crews). --Thanks
