There are three large trees blocking the walking path. Volunteers are at the ready for 4/23 Earth Day and a green waste dumpster has been confirmed. Please remove these trees prior to 4/23. Closest address is 2101 Mastlands Dr, across the street from park entrance.

    Tree fell in January storms wiping out the path, which provides access to two large schools and affects 2/3 of walking residents in Piedmont Pines.
    1. Of particular concern is the hazard to children.
    2. The slide above this location has plugged the drain so water pours down this section of Ascot, doubling the fear of erosion of the entire road bed from both above (from the drain block) and below (from erosion from the fallen tree).
    Failure/closure of this stretch of Ascot will strand 2/3 of Piedmont Pines residents.

    Need two No U Turn signs: on Ascot Dr at Mountaingate Way, and on Ascot Dr. and Camino Lenada. This was requested through Paul Corolia, OPD EMSS Traffic Section Safety Supervisor who forwarded info to the Transportation Services Division and to the Chief Engineer and opened a ticket with PWA. I don't have his SR #. Would like this sign installed before school starts in August, as that is the absolute WORST period for erratic driving, especially in the morning with commuter traffic clashing with school drop off. Let's save kids' lives!

    Culvert in creek between 2120 and 2110 Mastlands is completely blocked by mud, rocks (and pumpkin we removed) and debris. This creek has flooded before, causing massive damage to road. Photo attached. Red stake in center marks where the culvert opening is buried.
