  • 1522 Nw 4th St Gainesville, FL, 32601, USA - 311GNVPolice Sector 3
The tree in the yard nearest the corner of 4th St and 16th Ave has branches that extend to the ground and out towards 16th, limiting the view of traffic on 16th if you are turning on 4th. The limited view causes drivers to enter the crosswalk on 4th to see oncoming traffic or pedestrians/bikes. Very unsafe situation.

There is a large stream of water flowing in the parking lot and down the sewer drain, which was happening when I arrived. It looks like the sprinklers had been on for a long time.

On the SW side of the intersection of NW 4th ST and 16th Ave there are a lot of overgrown trees blocking the view when trying to turn onto 16th Avenue. Cars are forced to pull forward into the pedestrian crossing to see past the trees. I am not sure if the city is responsible for cutting the trees back or the property owner, but I hope someone can cut them back so people can see when trying to turn onto 16th Ave from NW 4th Street.

There is a stretch of the bike trail, just past Depot Ave and heading towards Main Street that regularly floods. The water stands for long periods and likely will undercut the bike trail. I believe that this area was reworked fairly recently to address the problem but it is still flooding.
