    The bridge to Ballena isle only has one sidewalk on one side of the road, but there are 4 lanes for cars. It would promote more physical activity, as well as protect pedestrians, to create a second sidewalk on the other side of the bridge. Bike lanes would also be a great enhancement. There is never enough traffic to justify 4 lanes for cars.

    Animal control maybe needed. On the walking path of lake Merritt at Harrison/lakeside drive and 21st. There is a small black bird that aggressively flies into people's heads. It happened to me twice in 2 weeks at the same location. Most recently today, I watched the bird for 1 minute afterward and it did it someone else.

    The crosswalk light to cross Harrison street at 19th, needs to a countdown and be more frequent. Many people wind up jay walking or getting stuck in the middle of the street, because the cross light is so short and you have to wait so long for it to turn green. There is a lot of pedestrians using this cross walk because of the large office building at the corner, and foot traffic to Lake Merritt. Thanks!
