James Road is very dangerous from Miller Lane to Sutton!!! The intersection of Miller and James going South on James, the limbs and brush have overgrown the road that you scratch your vehicle if someone approaches. Pictured on the left side of the photograph. On the right side, all they have done to the road is put gravel down instead of paving the road wider. The road is entirely two narrow for two cars, there are no lines painted on the road including a CENTER line? Deep ditches on the side is super dangerous if someone doesn’t move over when passing!!! And you can take out a mailbox when another car is passing if you do not stop or wait for the other car. This is absolutely ridiculous that a road this populated has not been fixed!! Major subdivision Hampton Village, Hampton Cove Cemetery and New Salem Baptist Church contain heavy traffic on this road!!! Hopefully they will also consider a traffic light on the intersection of James and Sutton. The work on HWY 431, Sutton Road and Cecil Ashburn has more traffic on James Road now more than ever.

James Road just past the stop sign at Miller Lane. The road is entirely to narrow. The trees, limbs and brush have taken over part of the North bound lane. Drivers don’t want to scratch their car so they push the south bound traffic off the road. Someone put gravel down but that doesn’t help. The road is being used frequently because of the Cecil Ashburn closing. The road needs widened for two cars. When you pass someone you have to get off the pavement!!!! Scratch your car or hit a mailbox!!!

Asplunch Tree Company is cutting down oak and crape myrtle trees in the South Parking lot, just past Huntsville Tennis Center (2305 Airport Rd), towards the baseball field. There has been no inspection of each tree for Bird Nests or other Wildlife!!!! They started cutting and shredding trees as of Thursday, May 16th. I have watched, and without inspections, they have continued cutting and shredding!!!! All Wildlife should be protected!!! And trees SHOULD be inspected before they are cut down!!!!! This company is not doing inspections!!!! I have issued complaints to Asplundh and Alabama Department of Environmental Management. This is also happened with the Golf Course as they are expanding and rebuilding that area of John Hunt Park. More trees that I can count, have been dug up, cut up, burned and shredded without any inspection of trees for wildlife!!! A horrible disregard of nature!!!!! Something should be done about this!!!!! I will continue to look for links regarding a blatant disregard of nature!!!!

The right hand lane, against the guardrail is falling in!!! Just past Governors Bend and 2201 Governors Dr SE, just before the Overlook. Even 18 wheelers are now in the left lane to avoid more damage of the road. With Cecil Ashburn closing, Governors Drive should be prepared for double and triple the traffic!! I drive a motor home, and the road on the right hand lane is so bad, my back tires caught the very large crack (sinkhole), and it almost threw me into the guard rail. To recover my motorhome, I was fortunate there was not a vehicle in the left hand lane. There is no shoulder. Only a metal guard rail. Even my vehicle has a hard time staying in the right lane because of this very large sinkhole!!! This should be high priority before further accidents happen beginning January 7th!!!!! The travel on Governors Drive is worse than Cecil Ashburn. Cecil Ashburn has only had a few issues on the actual road. It is a very nice drive. I have lived here my entire life, and Governors drive between Whitesburg and Montesano Blvd is treacherous!!!! Do not be surprised how many accidents there will be during this closure. They should have fixed Governors BEFORE the road closure of Cecil Ashburn!!!!
