In the afternoon eastbound traffic often backs up on Scio Church Road at the S. Maple Road intersection. Often we will be stopped by the light even during a period when westbound Scio Church Road traffic is flowing. Why are we stopped? That westbound traffic has no roadway for a left turn across our path.

A large tree branch extends over the sidewalk at a height of about 6 feet. I worry that a nighttime pedestrian or bicyclist will not see the branch and will sustain a bad head injury.

The past two weeks our compost bin has been on the street but not emptied.

People are going into the dilapidated potter's shed. The roof has failed in the front (and in the back) so they are able to pull themselves up , then step down into the shed, using a palette that has been tipped up, inside the shed. Meanwhile, lots of discarded junk has piled up outside this entrance.

Northbrook Drive Ann Arbor/Washtenaw, Michigan - Ann Arbor
I write for the Ann Arbor Observer. We received this inquiry:
"Northbrook next to old Office Depot. When driving northeast – there is a stop sign at Oakbrook. Does the left lane turn left only? Is the lane to enter straight into Oakbrook condos in the right lane? There have never been any arrow indicators painted on the road. Which lane should proceed straight?"
Could you provide a brief response that we could publish?
    Thank you.

The large ground level, large window at back of this abandoned building is once again wide open. Also, there is a large opening in the roof.
