Site distance (to the left) leaving cul de sac on Coram Fields Road is limited due to vegetation creeping into the street (Barnford Mill Road). Driver must move forward to see cars coming up the small hill on Barnford Mill and this puts the driver in the intersection. The view is different in a car versus a SUV or truck. Vegetation is in the street right of way. The issue was previously reported and there was no resolution or follow-up. Thanks.

Overgrown vegetation is encroaching ROW almost to curb creating sight distance difficulties when leaving cul-de-sac on Coram Field Road at Barnford Mill Road. View to left is partially obscured and cross traffic moves up the hill on Barnford Mill making it challenging to see. Vegetation removal needed. Thanks.

Sidewalks at the "connection" between The Meadows and Olde Mill Stream subdivisions do not "connect" along Barnford Mill Road. Each of the 3 sidewalks dead ends to grass right of way. It appears the 2 on the same side should connect together and the 3rd should have a curb cut with ramp.

Sidewalk is uneven in several places likely due to tree roots. Trip hazard.
  • Front Street Wake Forest, North Carolina - Wake Forest
Along North Front Street there are 2 storm drains that are in disrepair and create a hazard to sidewalk users. Traiffic cones and safety tape have been there for over a year, however the warning devices are periodically knocked down. I understand it is a DOT issue since 1-A is a DOT road. Can the town exercise some influence with DOT to get these storm drains repaired?
