People have been illegally dumping here for years with no solution.

I have consistently reported the illegal dumping for the past 4 years, since 2017. It is getting progressively worse with people dumping everything from trash bags to furniture, toilets and all other sorts of junk. I have wrote a letter to the mayor, reported through 311, with a litany of other reports. The only thing that is done is a generic email response where the case is closed and supposedly sent to the correct department. I have only seen 2-3 times that the ditch has ever been cleaned and the trash removed. As a resident of the community, directly in front of this ditch, I have seen how it has brought the neighborhood down. It has now become a health and safety hazard with rodents becoming more prevalent and trash and debris blowing into the main roadway. As a tax paying citizen it is very difficult to understand why other high income neighborhoods get immediate assistance and resolution, while we have to report issues for years with hardly any answers or rectifications. This is my final time reporting this issue. Afterwards, I will seek the assistance of the public news outlets, to show the disparities of middle to low income communities and the apathy from the city of Houston.
