Earlier post said: " Tourists visiting the Hocus Pocus house are leaving popcorn, bread and other food for the birds (uncooked rice in this photo) on the seawall and beach, not realizing that what they are really doing is feeding the rats.

Can we get some signage telling the well-meaning people not to do this?"

It was closed by the DPS and noted as "resolved".

Not sure what was resolved as there is no new signage and now there is a group of rats eating the rice.

For both Monday and Tuesday of this week (8/12-13) the loudspeaker at the ball field was at a tolerable level (compared to over the weekend).
Now, again on Wednesday the volume has been turned back up and it is completely unacceptable!!

It was good all summer but something has changed over the past week or two.

Can we PLEASE just turn down the volume?????? This has become a quality of life issue.

Bag of clothing and trash left at seawall.

Several pieces of the bike lane barriers along Loring Ave have fallen into the bike lane forcing bikers to quickly swerve out into traffic.

    Not a safe situation.

Another night, another loud, 1AM basketball game at Forest River park.

Supposedly, the lights on the Little League press box are left on all night in order to deter vandalism but they are having the opposite effect! The lights are attracting kids who come to hang out, smoke and play hoops.

Last night (1AM, Monday) has been about the 4th time in a week where kids come between midnight and 5AM to play b-ball making all kinds of noise and waking the neighborhood. Can something be done about this?
