Van has been parked on this block for over 2 weeks with Illinois plates. Previously, has been parked on other streets as well. This has gone on for months with multiple reports. When it is issues a ticket, it just moved to another spot, or block. Why is this person allowed to remain on Whiting streets for so long and still have out of state plates?

There are cars parking on 117th St at the lakefront entrance and walking to the beach. Just FYI so maybe some patrolling can be done outside the lakefront as well.

Just saw a car with Illinois plates that has a Whiting Lakefront Parking sticker in its window. I hope the people patrolling and ticketing are watching for this. The stickers are for purchase by Whiting residents who present a car registered in Whiting. These stickers are easy to remove and re-stick, so please be advised, or other out of town/state visitors will be trying to cheat Whiting out of its parking fees.

Car has been parked in the same spot in front of the tennis courts for the past 3 days.

This is almost a nightly issue during college softball season. There are numerous vehicles with Illinois plates that disregard or don't see the No Sports Complex sign and take up all the residents parking on the block of Oliver and 117th. When they leave they dump their food trash and beer cans and bottles. Last year we had to clean up broken glass in the street and on the sidewalks a few times.

We only have one sign midway up the block of Oliver at 117th St that states No Sports Complex Parking. Cars don't see this at the corner park there to walk across the street to the ball field. I came home to 4 cars with Illinois plates all parked on this block, and no room for residents to park. While we are thankful to have at least one sign, we really need a second one closer to the corner. This has been a big parking issues for the residents on this block during softball and little league seasons.

I have a full recycle bin that needs to be emptied.
For some reason we only have one trash and one recycle bin that we share with 1700 Oliver so both bins usually reach capacity in less than a weeks time.

The Gold Hyundai SUV is STILL parked in the Little League Sorts Complex parking lot. It is parked near the tennis courts end. There is a man sleeping in this vehicle. There are blankets covering the windows. I have been told twice that this person was advised not to be parked there, but that obviously isn't the case or hasn't worked. I just passed the parked at 6:15 pm and vehicle is there still. It is there every morning. Why?????

There is still a guy sleeping in an SUV in the parking lot of the Little League field on 117th & Oliver. Sun shade is in the window and blankets are covering the windows so you can't see in.
