Our regular pick-up day is Friday which last week was a holiday. I have had my trash on the corner and so have most of my neighbors since Thursday afternoon. I say most because some have put theirs aways because it is obvious our neighborhood won't be picked up until..well, your guess is as good as mine because we are upon yet another holiday. This has happened repeatedly in our neighborhood.a holiday falls on our day and so no one comes and gets our trash until our next pick-up day. Other nicer, fancier neighborhoods with the same collection day get theirs picked up Monday, but we are left with two weeks of trash piling up. I am guessing this Friday someone will have to get our trash because our old garbage and recycle carts should be collected so the new company carts can be used..which by the way, neighbors seem to be using already because no one picks up trash on time.

Our trash pick-up is scheduled for Friday. I understand last week had a Monday holiday, but it is now Thursday, a day before our regular pick-up and we still have not had our regular pickup. It's super frustrating that we pay for this service and it doesn't happen. Then there are all these qualifiers - it can't be bagged but outside the can, it can't be in another can, etc. I now have two weeks worth of bagged trash overflowing from my single can. Yesterday there was a bag that had been hit, debris strewn across busy Pierce Ave near the Gwinett Dr entrance. In saying all this, I am not asking for this to be picked up today...at this point my regular Friday is fine. I just wanted to take the time to explain how frustrating this on-going problem is. Thank you!

Street sign from across the road (intersection of Pierce and Old Holton) has been dragged into neighborhood (Gwinnett Dr). Looks like it was hit. Pole completely bent.
