At the end of the school day, many parents are parking on the east side of MB Sanford along 144 Street in the 7200 - 73300 block to wait for their kids. Many are on the west side of 144, but the majority of people are parking on the east side of 144 or in the parking lot of Newton Fellowship Church then either getting their kids or waiting for them to come to the car.

This is causing a SERIOUS potential for injury as many pedestrians are crossing 144 Street at this point where there are no crosswalks, crossing lights or other devices to assist with a safe crossing.

This needs to be monitored by Surrey Engineering and the appropriate pedestrian safety devices installed to ensure none of these kids are hurt running through the traffic.

Parking Enforcement may want to monitor as well as many of the vehicles are not parked legally.
