There is a telephone pole at the corner of Lanewood and Currier that has loose wires laying around the base. These wires pose a safety issue for mowing the grass between the sidewalk and the street.

During the winter, one of the plows ripped up the edge of the grass in front of our house (between the sidewalk and street) on both Currier Dr and Lanewood Ave (we live on the corner). It looks like soil and seed was put down on Currier (in front of most of the houses) but not in front of our house on Lanewood. Can the town repair that as well? With the grass being scraped away, whenever we get a heavy rain dirt washes down the hill and gets deposited at the end of our driveway.

    Thanks,

A tree limb just fell into the street in front of our neighbor's house. A DPW worker just moved it because street sweeping is taking place, but now it's partially blocking the sidewalk. Can someone get rid of it since it originally landed on town property?

In front of St Tarcisius Church there is a crosswalk which many commuters use during rush hour. Now that it is dark in the evening and the crosswalk is poorly illuminated, drivers seldom stop for pedestrians and I have seen or been involved in several "close calls" in the last few weeks. Also, given the rush hour traffic that backs up on Waverly St, pedestrians often have to walk out in between stopped cars, making it less likely to be seen by someone coming the other way.

Until such time as a long-term solution (such as better lighting or a more prominent crosswalk treatment) is in place, can we at least get a vertical reflective marker that sits in the middle of the road so drivers are more aware of the crosswalk?
