    There is a hole in the middle of the street. It is under an orange construction barrel. The area under the hole appears to be hollow and fairly large. The construction barrel has been there for many weeks. Can this hole be fixed soon?

    There is an approx. 2 foot deep sink hole in the NW corner of Hunt Park. It is a serious trip and fall hazard. Someone could break a leg. The hole is on a line between the tall fur tree near Spring St and the park shelter, closer to Spring St than to Sunset. There are several other shallow dips throughout Hunt Park including a low spot that often fills with rain wanter in front of the baseball backstop. Could these be filled in if you have a truck with some dirt up to fill in the deeper sink hole?

    An old box spring and mattress abandoned partly in the street at the corner of Brooks and Vesper near Sunset. We stopped and pushed them out of the street and on to the lawn. The City should remove them.

    A sign appeared in the last day or two on both the women's and men's restroom doors at the Hunt Park shelter that reads "Due to Recent vandalism the restrooms will be unavailable for use." I'm requesting that the restrooms be fixed and made available for use.

    I don't think all users of Hunt Park should be punished for vandalism by unknown people who may or may not live in the neighborhood. There are drinking fountains in the rest rooms that should be available to kids and adults playing soccer, tennis, or basketball in the park, particularly in the heat of August. In the heat of summer this is a health and safety issue.

    The drinking fountain on the outside of the shelter has been covered over with a black trash bag for several weeks, so there is no drinking water available anywhere at Hunt Park now. Also within the last day or two a sign appeared over the outside drinking fountain that reads "Due To sand blocking the drain the drinker will be unavailable for use." Can't the sand be removed and the drinking fountain be put back into use? Can't a different drain cover that is less likely to allow sand and dirt to block the drain be installed?

    If the vandalism occurs at night, perhaps fixing the two lights on the outside of the shelter could help reduce the problem. The lights haven't been working all season. They have been reported elsewhere on See Click Fix, but no action or a reply has occurred.

    This a follow-up to issue ID: 2461824 from 5/4/2016. The issue was closed on 3/23/2017 and is now archived, so I cannot comment on or reopen it.

    The several picnic tables and park benches in Hunt Park that need some sanding, painting, and a few rotten boards repaired/replaced have not been repaired. A comment when the issue was closed said "this was closed because a work order was made during the winter for the work that you identified. it will be addressed, sorry that was not communicated."

    What is the status of this work? Is it likely to be done this year?

    It would make sense to replace the light switches in both restrooms at the Hunt Park shelter with motion activated switches. The lights would then be off when the restrooms are not in use, would turn on automatically when someone comes in, and we'd save a little energy.

    The drinking fountain on the north side of the Hunt Park shelter is turned off and has a black trash bag covering it. What is going on? It is important for the drinking fountain to be available during the very hot summer days.

    Utility pole on north side of Sunset across from Hunt Park is leaning or bent to the point that I wonder if it is safe. The pole has three large electric transformers at the top and three metal tags. The tags say
    "HY-POLE NPSK 60, DTE 1 50, 812, McBain, MI";
    "DE 1 50 ND 1"; and
    "DE 13 50 ND 1".

    The baseball diamond at Hunt Park needs some attention. See photo. #1: the chain link at the bottom center of the backstop needs to be pulled down and reattached. #2: the limbs that have grown up through the right side of the backstop should be removed. #3: the rock that is behind the right side of the backstop should be moved or removed. #4: there is a low spot running from home plate where water collects after each rain that should be filled in or raised.

    The stone wall in the SE corner of Hunt Park that runs along Daniel St needs some attention. In particular the wall's cap is damaged in several places. If not repaired, this will lead to more damage as water enters the wall from the top. The uneven top of the wall also presents a hazard to people who walk on the top of the wall (as kids will do).

    The Peace Pole which had been standing at the NW corner of Hunt Park near the corner of Spring and Sunset streets has fallen down. As things are now the pole has screws or nails sticking out of its base and represents a trip and fall hazard. Can the pole be repaired / replanted?

    Dead tree on west side Hunt Park, along Spring street about 1/3 the length of the park down from Sunset. Tree needs to be removed and, hopefully, replaced.
