Old tree with broken branches hanging over the street. Notice branch in the center has a vertical fissure and appears brittle. This tree is a hazard and limbs will injure the public who travel underneath it. Just a matter of time.

Very deep pothole in the intersection of Center and Hampden St.

Trash barrels need to be returned to the side of the road . Cars can barely get through this set up left behind today. A few weeks back I sent a complaint about barrels left out in the road and as I was on the phone complaining to DPW the trash collection vehicle went by and struck the container out of it's way! Really???

Massive pothole situation please fix.

Ash St. is a road covered in potholes. It is the best access to Center St. from South St. to avoid the build up of cars down at the intersection of South and Center. It's a small street but used heavily and needs attention before the snow flies!

Parking violations on both sides of the street. No Parking signs clearly visible.

This ancient tree has been falling apart for decades now. The city said they are going to remove it yet there it is. Returning from work today I see how a heavy chunk of rotted limb has fallen off today. Luckily, no one was standing near it. It is also covering the sewer grate entirely.

Someone has illegally dumped their trash at the corner of Stearns Terrace and Springfield St. Seems like a lamp, bag of clothing, sewing machine, etc.

The man hole cover at this location has a depression starting around it. This has been fixed as recently as this past year, I believe. Columbia Gas has also been notified as a tree in the adjacent yard area may be dying due to possible gas leakage into the ground at this point. Historically, there has been a gas leak issue at this point in the past.

I was stopped at the red light at 1 Springfield St in the right hand lane waiting to go across to the bridge. A Silver Ford Sedan with official plates F663 proceeded through the red light from the left hand lane and crossed over to the bridge instead of taking a left turn as one should at that light. This state official may be confused that you cannot go straight through a red light but I believe you can take a left turn on red at the light. My point being that the lane is still not marked with the left turn only arrow nor is there a sign hanging from the arm of the traffic signal designating such. This is a state road as far as I know and this has been discussed on this forum before. The answer was they would remark the lane as soon as the weather improved. Not much was said about adding the left turn only sign to the arm of the light as no one can see a mark on the ground when a car is sitting on it.

This area of Nonotuck Ave. has flooding issues. Hardtop driveways will empty directly into this area. Has this flooding/catch basin issue been fixed?

Videotape is strung across the hedges of this abandoned property and extends across the street to the other side on Casino Ave.

Soil from the building site is flowing into the road, Nonotuck Ave. It has created a bump at this point in the road where cars must drive over it if any oncoming traffic.

Abandoned or neglected property. I believe this home was foreclosed? It has had a fire on the property and since been boarded up. It is an eyesore.
