The eastern crosswalk at Rt 60 and Jackson Street on the S&S side sidewalk does not have a depression to the sidewalk. difficult for wheelchair, stroller or bike to cross. there is a catch basin there, which may make it difficult or may require the depression to shift.

There is no sidewalk depression when travelling East on Winter, on the South side, across the street from Banks Place when you turn into the road for Oak Grove station parking.

There is a crosswalk with no sidewalk depression on the West side, but there is one on the East side, both sides can be seen in the photo (looking East on Winter on the South side)

Can we request the owner of the parking lost at the bottom of Cedar St (the beauty school) to cut the overgrowth along their fence on Pleasant St park side street. Cars coming to the end looking to turn right on Cedar cannot see pedestrians walking up Cedar, and we had a real close call.

There is an incredible drop from the bottom of the slide at the Beebe playground with the slide that ends at the parking lot edge. the photo shows a bottle that is about 5 inches tall. I tried pushing some playground mulch to the bottom of the slide, with no luck.

Next time you have to do playground mulch anywhere, can you add a nice shovel full to the bottom of the slides to make them safer for all children.

If this is a silly request, feel free to close.

  • 42-64 Savin Street Malden, Massachusetts - Malden Ward 3
Can we request a crosswalk across Savin St at Fellsmere Park near St Mary's crosswalk? The sidewalks depress on both sides, just the crosswalks are missing. Probably forgotten when the street was paved over.
  • 19 South Washington Street Malden, Massachusetts - Malden Ward 4

It seems to be very dangerous to cross to Exchange St, when walking South from S Washington St. This is one of the two major detours to get to the T station. A pedestrian's ability to see oncoming traffic, to cross Exchange is almost non-existent due to the mason Bldg construction, and the amount of public space they wee allowed to utilize.

With this being a major detour route to get to the T, can something be done to make it a little safer?

  • 244-248 Medford Street Medford, Massachusetts - Malden Ward 1
I assume the new owners will handle this, but opening a ticket to keep track of it. It would be nice if it could be fixed before the summer for safe pedestrian passage

Where can we find Meeting Minutes for our City Council subcommittees? They required under Open Meeting Laws? Can we start to take them and putting them on the city website?

Thank you for adding the outer edge of the crosswalk here. But I would like to add the request to fill in the crosswalk paint. It makes a big difference for safety.

Photo is taken at the new development at 150 Exchange St, on the Centre St side at the corner with the Electric Company building.

There is a new development. How was it allowed that the bollards were located in the middle of a ramp.

  • 40-198 Jackson Street Malden, Massachusetts - Malden Ward 4

At the corner of Exchange and Centre at the new development; there are walking hazards along the sidewalk, including an existing fire hydrant and street light control panel in the middle of the sidewalk.

Will these be moved to allow safe pedestrian passage? If not, and assuming not from the fresh sidewalk pour, then what extraneous circumstances allowed a new development to not shift the fire hydrant and panel to not be located right down the middle of a sidewalk path?

  • 63 Maple Street Malden, Massachusetts - Malden Ward 3
The intersection of Maple St and Cedar st crosswalk markings are completely faded. If a priority can be placed on the Maple St crossing, as it is a busier street than Cedar, and that stop sign is ignored more often.

The city hall keys have been passed, so I am assuming the city is not paying the electrical bill for the lights that remain on in City Hall all night?
