  • 3 Capitol Street Vallejo, California - Vallejo
The caravan of unattended carts and junk. Sorry I meant belongings. Middle of Marina Vista Memorial Park.
  • 799 Solano Avenue Vallejo, California - Vallejo
RV, totally not road worthy, no licence plates.
  • 331 Capitol Street Vallejo, California - Vallejo
From the corner of Sacramento and Capital to Santa Clara & Capitol, on the south side of the block, the sidewalk has weeds growing 5 feet tall as does the landscaping for Marina Tower apartments. Garbage bags dropped and general trash in the gutter, Street never gets swept. Not in front of any residences so no one takes care of the sidewalk.

Ferry Building Parking On Mare Island Way Vallejo, California - Vallejo
I just noticed the sign posted “no parking after business hours” until 6 AM for the ferry building parking lot. Perhaps it’s just a fantasy, but what about posting that near the dental building where we have the homeless encampment vehicle set up all the time? And again, do police even enforce the overnight ban on parking?
  • 300-310 Butte Street Vallejo, California - Vallejo
Unlicensed unregistered boat on trailer- boat has no water registration either.
  • 201-299 Carolina Street Vallejo, California - Vallejo
Another report of this same RV, living the Vallejo lhigh ife ion our neighborhood street. AGAIN!
  • 301 Butte Street Vallejo, California - Vallejo
Tires, decorated the bus stop. Also two more across the street on the sidewalk, you’ll have to look behind all the vehicles. They are near the unregistered unlicensed boat.
  • 1442-1445 Enterprise Street Vallejo, California - Vallejo

As reported before for Illegal Dumping, this RV came back to the same location.

    1. It is posted "No Parking Anytime".
    2. The Grounds Crew cleaned up after their last visit.
    3. Homeless living in RV.

Why not cite them for any of the above?

  • 1199 5th Street Vallejo, CA - Vallejo
Here’s a photo of the illegal dumping, as mentioned in the two other posts about the abandoned vehicles, many dumping issues along 5th Street do not seem to be addressed, although they have been reported here on SCF.
  • 1137 5th Street Vallejo, California - Vallejo
Second vehicle to be reported on fifth street currently being stripped. License plate is visible, is it stolen, is it abandonded? Maybe you could run the plates from your office and trace it to the owner? Sidenote, illegal dumping directly across the street, you can see it in the background of the photo. I will be entering that as a separate issue. I will also mention that many dumping locations that have been reported on 5th Street do not seem to be addressed by Grounds Crew.
  • 1190 5th Street Vallejo, California - Vallejo
Right behind the gas station at the intersection of fifth Street & Sequoia, two cars of been dumped and they are now being stripped on the street. There will be one more issue entered separately, exactly the same, another car stripped on 5th street. Are they abandon? Probably. Are they stolen, who knows. The photo includes the license plate, perhaps the Police could run the plate the from the office. Sidenote, multiple dumping issues on the same stretch of fifth Street, I’ve seen them reported here, but they do not seem to be addressed by the grounds crew.

Thank you for reporting! A Code Enforcement Officer has now been assigned to inspect the possible violation(s). You may visit eTRAKiT, our online tracking system, to view current case information for the Code Violations online at http://web.ci.vallejo.ca.us/eTRAKiT3/ (please allow several business days for the information to upload). SeeClickFix is one of the many tools available to the citizens of Vallejo to report non-emergency issues. We “close” an issue in SeeClickFix once we've acknowledged the complaint; however, this issue is not "Closed" per se; it will remain an "Open" case with us until it is corrected. Why aren't these issues left open until they are actually fixed?
    05/10/2018 · Flag

Because having too many issues open would make it apparent that few are actually resolved. A map full of pins showing the hot spots around town look bad. They could "acknowledge" the issue once it has been assigned and then "close" it once it's resolved, but this is not how Vallejo City Management does things....

My understanding is that Code Enforcement tracks enforcement through its own system, and not on this website. So, issues handled specifically by Code Enforcement that are reported via seeclickfix, such as property maintenance, are communicated to Code Enforcement, then marked as closed on this website, since it is outside of CE's internal tracking system. You can click the eTRACKiT link above to view the status, and you will see that they do indeed follow-up. It would be more helpful if this website had a option to mark items as "transferred" instead of closed, as it can give a false impression of the true status.

Yes, I am aware of how the Code Enforcement division and eTRAKiT are used by Code Enforcement. Many folks really don't like the way it is handled. Have you ever tried to find an eTRAKiT case without the case number? Many addressees have up to 30 violation entries and no way to filter by date, you have to open each case. And some are still open after a full year of warning letters etc. Very little to no information is shown, just the starting date, follow up date and how many letters have been sent to the address. Take a look at how Oakland uses SCF. They clearly state the current status and follow up then close it properly on SCF when resolved.

  • 201-299 Carolina St Vallejo, CA 94590, USA - Vallejo
Vehicle dumped here on Carolina Street, I believe it has been reported before. It won't be by me again because I do not bother contacting parking/traffic division anymore. Mostly just putting it on the SeeClickFix for reference to how long it sits around. This is one of the many unlicensed or expired registrations parked up and down Carolina.
  • 265 Carolina Street Vallejo, CA 94590, United States of America - Vallejo
I'm hoping this goes through as illegal dumping, because it's been reported as abandoned in the past. Well now there's junk all over the place. I'm really getting tired of it being here. And this is associated with 224 Carolina St., along with the other dumping issues that I entered here today.
  • 224 Carolina St Vallejo, CA 94590, USA - Vallejo
You might end up sending this to code enforcement because it's their own trash in front of their own home. Along with the other pile two doors down and the unlicensed junk trailer across the street. All are entered as separate issues.
  • 212 Carolina St Vallejo, CA 94590, USA - Vallejo
Pretty sure this is associated with the neighbors at 224 Carolina, This along with the other dumping two doors down and including the junk pile trailer across the street (unlicensed). Created separate issues for each but all related.
  • 1061 California 29 And Other Locations On Sonoma (Hwy 29) Vallejo, California - Vallejo
See picture,- Can’t even tell you how long this is been sitting, I believe other people have reported it here In SCF so long ago. This is just one of several locations I included one other photo for your reference but they are all on Sonoma Boulevard between Curtola and Magazine street. Pretty sure this one’s not a Caltrans issue as the barricades say city of Vallejo .

Are we doing any of what's listed below? Fees, Inspections etc.? How do I find out if we are collecting the fees for monitoring vacant buildings. Only seems to be checked if reported by a citizen.

    7.62.110 - Vacant building monitoring.
Any and all vacant buildings are subject to monitoring by the code enforcement manager. Monitoring is required to ensure compliance with this chapter and to ensure that the property owner is progressing diligently with authorized repair or rehabilitation, the building is ready for occupancy and actively offered for sale, lease or rent, or the property owner is actively maintaining and monitoring the building.

    (Ord. 1460 N.C. (2d) § 1 (part), 2001; Ord. No. 1672 N.C.(2d), § 7, 3-12-2013.)

7.62.120 - Vacant building monitoring fee.
    A. Fee Imposed. There is imposed on every property owner of a vacant building an annual vacant building monitoring fee. The amount of this fee shall be established by city council resolution based on the reasonable cost of monitoring the vacant building. The fee shall be payable as to any vacant building which is vacant for more than thirty days for any reason. B. Fee Waiver. The vacant building monitoring fee may be waived by the code enforcement manager if the manager finds that: 1. The property owner has obtained a building permit and is progressing diligently with authorized repair or rehabilitation to ready the building for occupancy; or 2. The vacant building meets all applicable codes and is actively being offered for sale, lease or rent; or 3. Based on evidence provided by the property owner, the payment of the fee would impose a substantial hardship on the property owner or would hinder the repair or rehabilitation of the vacant building. C. Procedure. The code enforcement manager shall send a notice requiring the payment of the annual vacant building monitoring fee to the property owner at the address shown on the latest equals assessment roll of Solano county or as otherwise known to the manager or other city official by virtue of more recent and reliable information. The notice shall be sent first class mail and certified mail, return receipt requested. The effective date of the notice is the date of the first class mailing. The notice shall include but not be limited to the following: 1. Amount of fee; 2. Date by which fee is due and payable; 3. Consequences of not paying the fee, including but not limited to, the issuance of administrative citations, imposition of fines and administrative charges or other legal remedies available to the city; and 4. Procedure for requesting a hearing to contest the requirement for the fee. D. Fee Payment. The property owner shall pay the fee to the city within thirty days of the effective date of the notice.
    (Ord. 1460 N.C. (2d) § 1 (part), 2001; Ord. No. 1672 N.C.(2d), § 8, 3-12-201

  • 555 Santa Clara Vallejo, California - Vallejo
Now that the re-branded illegal dumping team has had a few months to work, where are we at? Do you have any successful stories? Can you give a number of fines or tickets given for illegal dumping? How many folks were able to claim half the fine as a reward? Has there been a reduction of how many pounds the Grounds Crew picks up?
Left a message with the City Manager's office, but no return call...these numbers are not included in the Manager's weekly report.
Is the number greater than zero?

Supposed to have sent out Code Enforcement Officer several times...can not find any eTRAKit case for the address or area.
