  • 2654 Riverview Rd Macon GA 31204, United States - Macon
Amount of litter in the grass at the intersection of Riverside Dr and the Exit 167 on and off ramps is terrible for visitors to see as they sit at the traffic light As is the amount along N Pierce as they drive to Amerson River Park this holiday weekend
I've noticed a big upswing in the amount of litter visitors can see along numerous entrance and exit ramps, especially Getting on I-75 N or S from the Mercer athletics area People will think Macon is a dump
  • 2654 Riverview Rd Macon GA 31204, United States - Macon
Another missed recycling pickup for this entire area Now, many carts are overflowing with weeks of accumulation and all the paper and cardboard will be soppy wet if it does rain next week

Entire Riverside Park area (Riverview Rd, N Pierce, etc ) wasn't picked up on scheduled day, and nothing this morning
  • P-WORKS: Litter Archiviert
1041 Anthony Rd Macon, GA, 31204, USA - Macon
Huge amount of litter and trash has spilled on the entrance ramp from Mercer University Dr. W to I–75 N. Much was there the w/e before the 4th, but a couple big bags of trash were added (burst open) on July 3rd. Looks awful for people leaving Mercer.
  • Abandoned house Archiviert
2888 Riverview Road MaconMacon, Georgia - Macon
Home abandoned few years ago, appeared to be in nice condition. Yard kept up until about 3 years ago. Now totally overgrown, house not even visible and large plants from driveway joints! As it is only two doors down from Riverview Bridge, it’s a visible eyesore to everyone entering the neighborhood.
  • 2658 Inwood Dr Macon, GA 31204, USA - Macon
Once again, the garbage truck picked up the entire neighborhood, but didn't go down Inwood Dr. leaving the 5 garbage carts untouched. The recycling truck DID go down Inwood, even though there was only one cart and one blue recycling box. Please tell the regular garbage truck that Inwood Dr. does exist and has houses on it.
  • 2888 Riverview Rd. Macon Ga. 31204 - US Congressional District GA8
Unoccupied house very near Riverview Rd. bridge over I-75, and thus visible to all entering neighborhood, is so overgrown the house can't be seen through what used to be grass and shrubbery.
  • 435 E. Buford Rd. Macon Ga 31204 - Macon
Pick up was missed for entire alley serving all houses on this street. All carts are running over now, so PLEASE be sure this street gets picked up this week (tomorrow).
  • 2600-2604 Riverside Drive Macon, Georgia - Macon
Riverside Dr. E-bound at Pierce. Left turn signal (to turn onto I-75 N. entrance ramp) often does not function. At first, it was just if there was only 1 car. Now, especially at night, with little traffic, it doesn't function I have waited through 3 light cycles, sometimes with 2 or 3 cars behind me, until I finally just turn on red when no one is coming. I have had to turn left without a turn arrow at least 6 times in the last week and a half. luckily, late at night when I am there, there is often no west-bound traffic on Riverside at all. But it needs fixing to avoid travelers getting frustrated and turning when side traffic may have a green, since they wouldn't know the cycle sequence.
  • 2686 Riverview Rd Macon, GA 31204, USA - Macon

  • 2601-2667 Inwood Dr Macon, GA 31204, USA - Macon
City owned triangle of land at corner where Inwood Dr. angles up toward Riverview (and straight ahead becomes Sheraton Dr.) has weeds 5-6 ft. tall. Needs cutting badly! All views and signs getting blocked.
  • 2688 Riverview Road Macon, Georgia - Macon
Duplex at 2866/2868 Riverview Rd. now has open windows facing street with no weather protection, and young people crawling in and out. Property has been vacant and not maintained for four years, and yard/property allowed to grow wild for 3 years.
Owned by local attorney according to County records.
  • North Pierce Avenue Macon, Georgia - Macon
Small triangular lot at corner of Inwood Dr. and Sheraton Dr. got overgrown early this year after recent rains. Stuff is 5 or 6 ft. High already.
  • 2668 Riverview Rd. Macon Ga 31204 - Macon
House is shown to be owned by Real Estate agent, but has been unoccupied, overgrown, appears abandoned for about 3 years. On a street without other abandoned homes, it detracts greatly from the neighborhood.

We got a replacement garbage cart a couple of years ago from the city that is an old cart from Attaway Waste Services. It is REALLY heavy duty, but one wheel could fall off. Now, it's gotten to where it won't stay on at all. The garbage crew either has to retrieve it from the truck or chase it down the street almost every Friday. It's so sturdy I'd love to have the wheel fixed if possible, replacement would be second choice.
