    Drivers on Cambridge Street use high speeds in both directions between Inman Sq and Harvard Sq. The zig zag pattern of bike lanes makes it even more dangerous. Last week I was turning right/westward onto Cambridge Street from Robert’s Road and was nearly hit by a speeding car traveling eastward and not zig zagging properly—by staying within the lane markings.

    Hedges obstruct/project 10 inches along the sidewalk. This leaves a 20 inch wide sidewalk. Hedges on the other side of the street do not obstruct the sidewalk. New sidewalk cutouts in front of 18-20 Ware make walking even more difficult.

    Disabled parking spaces across Vassar St from the Johnson Athletic Center--city spaces

    1) The disabled parking sign for one space is completely hidden by tree branches. So anyone can park there and claim there was no visible sign. Can the branches be trimmed?

    2) The other disabled space has a construction "no parking before 3pm" until September 22 sign by the space. Is this legal?

    Traveling northwest on Hampshire Street/Cambridge Street intersection on a green light: I had to yield to a car traveling east on Cambridge Street. Isn't the first block of Cambridge Street one way Westbound only? But this car, probably running a red light, entered Cambridge Street in the eastbound direction. This is not the first time I've encountered this.

    And the car in front of me on Hampshire turned right onto Inman on a red light.

    Traveling eastbound on Mt. Auburn and crossing Rt 2 is terrifying at night because there are no lane markers on the road.

    Crossing rt 2 here is also scary because the light turns red before the car can get beyond the intersection.
