    There is a metal "tower" in the median on Capital Blvd that I understand is called the "Time & Light Tower." I have researched and found it was given to the city years ago. This part of Capital Blvd is one that is constantly cited as urban blight. I do not understand why, as we grow and attract more and more activity downtown, we would have such a bland and ugly structure as this Time & Light Tower staring motorists in the face as they head into downtown. Can someone PLEASE take this eyesore down? Thank you.

    The traffic light at the corner of Bland/pacific/Falls of Neuse takes over three (3) minutes on weekdays to turn green for Pacific/Bland traffic. The light changes faster on weekends, though still in excess of two minutes. Can an investigation be made to see if the timing might be adjusted some for the Pacific/Bland traffic?? Three minutes seems like an ETERNITY!!
