A water leak has surfaced by 731 10th St. Locates have been requested and the City crew will be in there area working to narrow down the leak location as much as possible from the surface. Excavation will begin when locates are in. Please check back for updates.

Replacing a lead service to address a leak inside a home on the 700 block of 11th St required the water main to be shut off to complete the work. The City crew is on site and water will be restored before the day is out; however the residents will be on a DWA until further notice.

The PW Crew with the City of Humboldt found a water line break on the 900 block of 12thSt. Yellow DWA notices were handed out to all residents. The water break was repaired on Tuesday, August 6, 2019 and the PW Water Crew is in the process of collecting water samples for analysis.

The PW Crew with the City of Humboldt schedule an excavation for this morning (July 25, 2019) to address the valve that has been leaking on the corner of 12th Ave and 12th St. The work anticipated was bolt tightening however when the crew got down to the valve it was evident the issue was more than just loose bolts. Yellow Notices are going out this afternoon to advise the impacted residents of the work to take place tomorrow where they will be without water for ½ the day while the valve is replaced.

At 601 11th St a curb stop repair has required the water for the 600 block of 11st to be turned off for a period of time to facilitate the repair. Yellow DWA notices have been delivered to all impacted residents.

Sunset Estates in Humboldt required the water to be shut off to the area on May 16, 2018 to address a water issue in one of the units - this put 10 units on a DWA as the water was off to the park for a couple hours.

Hydrant repairs/replacements and valve installations and repairs are scheduled on the 700 and 800 Blocks of 10th St for the week of May 13, 2019. The work will impact the water distribution to the 700 and 800 Blocks of 10th St. Yellow DWA notices have been delivered to all impacted residents.

A water main break surfaced at the intersection of 9th St and 2nd Avenue this morning. The crew is in the process of isolated the leak and preparing yellow door knockers sharing a DWA will be in affect as of noon today. Impact is the 100 block of 9th St, the 100 block of 10th St and the Sunset Estates trailer park.

A water main break occurred on the 300 block of 12th Street. Yellow door knocker/hangers were delivered to those impacted. The break is in the industrial area of town so there are only 2 businesses Impacted – the PW Shop and ReAct.

The businesses on 6th Avenue between Main St and 9th St have been put on a DWA as one of our valves on this line at Main St had broken in the closed position – effectively making this portion of the main a dead end. Yellow notices were handed out to all businesses yesterday. The valve is being replaced today and water restored to all businesses.

A water main break has been reported on the corner of 7th St and 6th Avenue, by the Village Green Condo complex. The City Crew is assessing the impact of the situation to determine when the repair will begin, Yellow notices are being prepared to deliver to all impacted residents and businesses

There is a water break between 10th St and 12th St on the water main running on 12th Avenue. The break is isolated at this time however the residents on the 1100 block of 11th St were put on a DWA in the process of isolating this break. The break has been isolated to the avenue, no residents are supplied water from the avenue line. All residents have water at this time so the repair will commence in priority sequence. The DWA is in process of being lifted for the residents on the 1100 block of 11th St.

A water break has been located by the hydrant east of Brockmans's Enterprises. The City has mobilized a crew to complete the repair. Residents in WaterRidge and businesses in the area have been put on a DWA to facilitate this repair.

The City of Humboldt has found a leak north of the Fairway 14 Condos (1140 Main St.). Yellow DWA notices were delivered February 21, 2019 to impacted residents. The excavation began at 8:30am, Friday February 22, 2019. Water is available at the Uniplex at no cost to impacted residents should water to residents not be restored by the end of the day, Feb 22, 2019. The City Crew sincerely appreciates the community patience and understanding as they work in these cold conditions to restore the water service. The DWA will remain in affect until Green Notices are delivered to impacted residents. Please check back for updates.

The City is assisting Humboldt Housing in the replacement of a water line that is running to their townhouses in Central Plaza. Temporary water has been set up for the townhouses in Central Plaza; however to facilitate the tie in of the new Humboldt Housing water line to the City’s system the 300 block of 6th Ave and Chapman Place will be depressurized resulting in a DWA for these residents. Yellow DWA advisory notices have been delivered.

The City of Humboldt is engaging is some line repairs on the 700 Block of 6th St and nicked the water line. Impacted are residents on the 600 and 700 blocks of 6th St. Yellow notices are being handed out.

The City of Humboldt has had a Water Valve fail so we are excavating this morning to replace the valve. Impacted are 7 businesses and 1 resident. Yellow Notices have been delivered advising of the DWA to those on the Southside of Hwy 5 from 2nd St to 104th St.

Replacement of the water main has been complete. Canada Place will be removed from the temporary water system the afternoon of September 12, 2018 thus a PDWA has been issued. Please check back for updates.
