Last week, the company responsible for replacing the AT&T box in the sidewalk completed the job on Thursday, June 10. One of the workers told me that they would power-wash all the painted lines and markings on the sidewalks and street when they finished. However, many of the markings are still there, as are two of the sandwich board signs announcing "No Parking 8:00 a.m to 4:00 p.m 6/7-6/9." The three houses affected by this oversight are at 1138, 1140, and 1142 Polynesia Drive.

The brick paving in the intersections of Chess Drive between F.C. Blvd. and Bridgepointe Pkwy. has been settling unevenly for several years despite at least one repaving attempt. Driving to and from Bridgepointe is becoming more and more like navigating a mine field with all the uneven brickwork at these intersections. I reported this issue over a year ago and was told that the brickwork would be removed and replaced with asphalt paving as part of another project this July. Nothing has yet been done and the problem has worsened.

I reported this issue in February and was told that the uneven bricks on Chess Drive at the Vintage Park Drive intersection would be replaced with asphalt as part of the Vintage Park Drive overcrossing project. That project is now complete and the uneven brickwork remains a problem both there and at two other locations on Chess Drive between Foster City Blvd. and Vintage Park Drive.
