    Traffic light at the southbound end of Mountain View Corridor and Porter Rockwell Blvd will turn yellow and then red for a very short interval - like 2 seconds - even though no cross traffic is going east-west on Porter Rockwell at the time. So it's just turning red for no apparent reason, and for only 2 seconds each time. Seems like a glitch to me.

    Was driving through Mountain View Corridor heading westbound tonight (9/14) and the traffic was backed up all the way to 4260 W. The westbound straight traffic light crossing Mountain View Corridor is only staying green for about 17 seconds, so there's a huge backup at this light. The issues with east west traffic at this light are ridiculous and unacceptable. Someone needs to fix these issues ASAP.

    What if there was an emergency and the ambulance couldn't get to someone in time because east west traffic was so backed up at this light? This road is almost the only way to get into Herriman. That is a huge issue.

    The light timing of this intersection is very poor. It gives too much time to northbound traffic at the expense of all other directions. Southbound straight and westbound straight are particularly bad. It took 12 minutes to get through just this intersection going westbound straight, when just last week it only took 4 or 5 minutes. Please restore the timing to what it was before. This new timing is going to cause significant safety issues as people try to "beat the light" by cutting in line and swerving around each other.

    Eastbound and westbound green time is too short at the intersection of 12600 S and Mountain View Corridor. The problem seems to have been exacerbated recently. In non-rush hour traffic, the westbound traffic backs up all the way to 4570 W, while eastbound backs all the way up to Herriman Main Street, causing issues for people trying to turn out of Western Hills Drive. Whoever recently shortened the green time on this stretch of road needs to be fired. Please fix this.

    Currently there is only one lane dedicated to direct westbound traffic on Porter Rockwell Blvd. In the evening rush hour, there are regularly huge lines backed up at this intersection in the westbound straight lane. There are two lanes dedicated to the southbound left turn (towards Saratoga Springs) and only one dedicated to the westbound straight (toward Herriman).

    We've been told by UDOT that changing the light timing to give more time to westbound traffic would negatively impact the efficiency of the other directions. I think I can reasonably agree with this claim, based on my own observations of this intersection as well. The northbound left turn is already significantly backed up, as well as straight southbound traffic.

    My suggestion for improvement is to convert the innermost southbound left turn lane into a second westbound straight lane, without changing any of the existing traffic light timings. That change alone would significantly reduce the wait time for westbound traffic while not having any negative impact on the other backed up directions.

    I never see large amounts of cars waiting to turn left onto southbound Redwood Rd, so to me it looks like having two southbound turn lanes isn't necessary, and one lane alone for that direction would suffice just fine.

    A painted stop line was added to the road here to make westbound drivers stop at the curve so that prople going eastbound could turn north without being blocked. That's all fine and good; however, the traffic light doesn't take this early stop into account in the length of it's cycles. So every time westbound lights turn green, only a handful of cars have time to make it through the light. This causes huge backups on westbound 14600 S, especially during rush hour. Can someone adjust this light to give more green time to westbound traffic when there's a line at that early stop? That stop needs to be correctly accounted for in the traffic light's algorithm.

    There are tall weeds growing out of the pavement on the side of the road. Also, lots of debris - this road really needs to be swept.

    There's a freeway sign here (when going eastbound on 12300 S) that has a huge tree growing directly in front of it. As a result the sign is impossible to read.
