Way to much excess salt on roadway west bound on Guilford at Edenbrook.

Please pickup and try to improve salt distribution in future

The picture heavy duty chain (probably a chain for large truck tire) is on the side walk at Edenbrook Drive and First League (south side). May have fell off a county snow removal truck.

Massive Stormwater runoff from the new housing development at Shaker and Guilford in Dickenson Kings Contrivance in Columbia. This is the third time I have reported this site to Tellhoco and the fifth time I have seen the massive runoff. Please make the developer fix and fine them as appropriate. Please check their stormwater design and implementation for flaws. Please give me details as to your action.

The Miller and Smith townhome development (Edenbrook and Guilford( is again leaking sediment off the property and into the storm drains.
This is their second violation that I have reported.

This grease container (behind Su Casa In Lot D) was open and should be closed (maybe put a sign on it to remind those dumping to shut it); also I think the container should be sitting in a containment area. k

A colleague watershed steward (Bryan Sirotkin) reports a 100 ft salt pile on route 70 west bound between mile marker 72.8 and 73 in the right lane.

This container behind the Harris Teeter in the Kings Contrivance Village shopping center is leaking some fluid. The drainage area around the container appears to be greasy and smells bad.

I’m a Hoco Watershed Steward and have previously reported an open and leaky grease container in this area.

Buses leaking oil and other fluids at Kings Contrivance bus stop (in front of bank). See picture. These pollutants wash into the nearby storm drain inlet and then to nearby stream then Middle Patuxent. Buses should be maintained. Also many times the buses are left running further polluting with exhaust.

Please sweep up excess salt left over from last application.

A dilapidated cable or electrical box is exposed in the wooded area near the sidewalk directly across Edenbrook Road (Columbia Kings Contrivance) from the county basketball court. I'm not sure who owns that property or who should be responsible for removing or safely securing it.

Motorized dirt bikes are racing on the gas transmission path, Hoco county park area, and CA Space (6/24/2017 5 pm - 7 pm. They entered the CA path system at the end of First League in Dickenson and then ride the Transmission path to the river and onto county park property. They are tearing up paths creating erosion issues and are dangerous to other path users.

I think that now might be a good time for county street sweepers to operate. Do you think that is a good idea?
