Barrels are still sitting by the street. No word from the BoH. Or anyone in city administration about when recycling will be picked up. Or why it hasn't been.
Did the city default on money it owed to WM? Is WM under staffed? Are the trucks broken? Are they on strike?

Should we band together and rent a UHaul, or several.. and bring the recycling to the dump ourselves? Or perhaps city hall?

Honestly the bins are now overflowing. I've got contractor bags that we are now filling with recyclables.
With the weather getting warmer is there going to be an issue with trash pick up this summer? Leaving full trash bins in the summer heat on our sidewalks??

Should we look into getting another company privately to pick up trash? And if so how will we get some of our tax money back?

People are getting angry out here. We pay our taxes. We expect basic services to be taken care of.

Could destroy a school bus tire and rim. Can't miss this thing. It's giant. Please fix before it swallows a Honda. Or a bus actually hits this thing, and a student gets launched like it was severe turbulence on a plane, and gets hurt.

chair out in front of property. BTW It's mine. My chair. My property. I am reporting it here since I paid to have it picked up via the city website on 3/15 for pick up on March 20th. It wasnt. I posted the issue on the BOH FB page. Was told to call the office, which I did. Was told it would be picked up the next morning. It hasnt been. So I posted on the FB page a second time. And was told to call the office agin. Spoke with someone there that told me it wasnt going to be picked up today , and probably not on Thursday either. And "could I bring it back into the house" Uhm NO. It's been outside since the evening of the 19th waiting for pick up! You want residents to be responsible and "do the right thing" but this is what happens. So it will stay out there. And I will tell my neighbors I set up pick up. I will stick the proof of such on the chair.

multiple potholes. Great for slowing people down. Not so great for suspensions and tires. Please fix these. This area CONSTANTLY needs repair.

entire street missed recycling. again.

The pretty new wide sidewalks that were put in over the summer have not been cleared of snow. Kids are having to stand in Pearl St while they wait for the bus. And walk in Pearl street after drop off. Either clear them, or enforce the ""law"" and ticket . Or BOTH before a kid gets killed getting hit by a car.
