after the most recent wind storm, large limbs and other debris were cut up by some kind neighbor and pushed to the side so cars could pass, but that debris still needs to be removed. Thank you

dead tree threatening to topple onto wires. NG will cut if but not remove it. Private road. They don't have to. Also, brush-cutting along wooded roads is no longer provided for private roads, which are quickly growing ever more narrow as brush becomes saplings becomes trees. I've paid to cut trees opposite my property and done brush work by hand to spare my retaining bank and wall from further collapse caused by loss of the opposite roadside. When a DPW worker was here putting back a no parking sign (how did he squeak through to take care of something on a "private road???????" he saw what I'd done myself and was outraged that no one was tending to ANY of the dangers posed by these dead trees. He told me to go tell Sefatia. I intend to.

Problem on a problem on a problem. Gnarly dead trees hanging over endangering wires, passersby. Nat'l Grid will cut, they say, but not remove, except to shoulder opposite my property that I have cleared because for forty years previous owner would not permit brush-hogging and mature trees had forced road to my side and collapsed my bank and wall. I have spent $2,300. so far and am doing the rest by hand. The land is not mine, but unmaintained by any crew. Whole road -- whole "rural" city -- increasingly unsafe for want of road maintenance, in this case, brush-hogging. My property has sustained terrific damage so I am personally restoring the road opposite, BUT NOT TO BE A DUMPING GROUND. DPW worker Rick Balderini was outraged by what he saw and told me to go see Sefatia, which I will do this week.

Quarry Street needs brush-hogging. In many places the road has narrowed dangerously ANDS UNNECESSARILY. IN SOME CASES TREES THAT NATIONAL GRID IS TRIMMING BACK HAVE GROWN UP BECAUSE OF YEARS AND YEARS OF NO BRUSH-HOGGING. I have been doing road work myself to try to spare what is left of my side of the road. Neglected brush-hogging grows trees. It is not necessary, the strangulation of many places, not to mention that damage and danger caused by this neglect. The photo shows where I have clear and then what remains for the city to clear.
