I'd like some insight. I looked up Ansonias noise ordinance, and any type of construction companies etc, can only work and operate loud machinery I believe between the hours of 8am-8pm. The latter isn't the issue. WINTER BROS comes on my street pretty much everyday Monday through Friday, I know this because I reside across from the middle school, and they come to empty the schools dumpsters. However, I've been here for 15 months. At first they'd come around 7am. Now for the past 4 months it's gotten earlier and earlier. Ive actually started keepimg track 2 weeks ago of their arrival times in order to file a complaint. Today was 5am, yesterday 4:30am, Monday was 4:15am! The truck is so LOUD, AND SCREECHES THE ENTIRE TIME they are there, about 10 minutes. Even though the school is there, this is a RESIDENTIAL AREA and my bedroom is in front of the house and I'm woken everyday, day after day by the noise. I work off hours so being woken up before 5am everyday is too much now after several months. I also have a sickly and elderly neighbor that's bothered. I'm unable to fall back asleep for hours after they leave. They should have to adhere to the noise ordinance and not come before 8am! Who do I file a formal complaint with? Thank you
