The intersection identified by the red circle in the attached image is dangerous.
I am a law enforcement officer. Myself and other officers have handled numerous traffic crashes at this intersection.
I propose closing this Left/U-turn lane and forcing motorists North to the traffic light intersection at Brier Creek Pkwy & ACC Blvd.

There are three lanes on Duraleigh Rd just SW of the intersection at Glenwood Ave. but you can't tell because the lane lines have completely worn off of the roadway surface.

Two sections of sidewalk directly in front of house at 5312 Mapleridge Road in Raleigh, NC are raised and/or broken apparently due to tree roots.
The sidewalk appears to have been recently repaired near the area of concern.

    Hello,
I am not reporting an issue. I am logging this incident for the purpose of thanking the City of Raleigh and it's utility partners for taking time to upgrade my neighborhood street lights to use the newer brite white lights.
This has a tremendous positive affect on safety and security, so I wanted to thank you for updating the street lights and discontinuing the old (and almost useless) orange-colored street lighting.
I would also like to thank the City of Raleigh and/or Wake County for these additional community improvements..
    1) Continuing repair and replacement of damaged sidewalks as well as clearing over-hanging brush and trees from sidewalks.
    2) Posting intersection street signs that give drivers advanced notice of upcoming intersections. This is extremely valuable since many of Wake County roads and intersections are poorly marked and have more than one name. Although, the placement of road/intersection signage could be improved to account for placement vs direction of traffic flow.
    Thanks again,
