    Cannot see children at 3 crosswalks on Waldenwood and Penberton. Overgrown vegetation, in some places 6 ft high, next to the school crosswalk. This has been a chronic problem since the late 1990s when Mayor Shedon had the right of way cleared with a brush hog and the city informed neighbors that they were responsible for maintaining it. We need a sight distance/visability category.

    More than a dozen streetlights were out at 9:10 PM tonight in the area of Fuller and Medical Center Drive. Also two more outages on the north side of Fuller near the entrance to North Campus. There are many pedestrians in the area after dark and I have reportage outages in this area many times.

    Vegetation on NAP property is blocking visibility of oncoming vehicles. Drivers are stopping after the crosswalk rather than at the Stop Bar, thus endangering pedestrians. Please schedule regular trimming. I have reported this issue for at least 10 years after arguing that this is city property. The city initially did not acknowledge responsibility because it was not on the tax rolls. We have outstanding staff, yet dysfunctional systems to maintain a safety environment. Vision Zero is more than new crosswalks and bike lanes.

    Crosswalks & sidewalks are blocked by overgrown vegetation in violation of chapter 40 throughout the city. Ths is a safety issue and a chronic problem. I have reported some of the sites in North East Ann Arbor for the last 10+ years. As an elected official I should not be the reporting officer and our community standards should not be sent out year after year when property owners do not comply with chapter 40 and know they will simply be given a warning or the city will trim at our expense. A2 Fix It is the official record in the event of a crash. so please consider this an official notification of unsafe conditions, primarily in the King area, but including NAP properties, such as on the corner of Glacier and Huron Parkway, and in the DDA, such as on Division within a block of City Hall. (No appropriate issue category)

    I am entering a ticket for this location because I do not see an open streetlight ticket in this area. Today a constituent wrote: "I am very concerned about the street light that has been out for several months at the corner of
    E. Catherine and Xina Pitcher at the med center. In December, I reported this on the web site AA Fix-it.
    In January, I made a telephone call to the city office and was assured that it would be taken care of.
    Now it is mid-February. Still dark in early evening, when people are leaving the med center to walk to
    the parking garage on Catherine Street. Very dark at that corner. I am afraid to cross! Please get this
    street light fixed before someone is hit by a car or bus turning from Xina Pitcher onto Catherine!!"
