Trash everywhere, piling in backyard

needs mowing along N Federal Ave, this is Ames Photo address

needs mowing along 12th St NW, this is Domino's Pizza address

needs mowing along 12th St NW and N Federal Ave, weeds growing in cracks of concrete in the fenced in lot

The last time this vacant lot was mowed was between 6-14-2023 and 6-27-2023. That is 2 months ago. It was turned in again on 7-13-2023 said it was mowed on 7-24-2023 but it was not mowed. It was then turned in on 8-4-2023 saying it wasn't mowed and on the same day this was said Admin

Our mowing contractor, as well as our Code Enforcement Officer both reviewed the property today. Please remember that our contractor will NOT mow, unless the grass and/or weeds at this property exceeds twelve (12) inches in height and volunteer trees are not considered a nuisance in Mason City. This property is still currently meeting code and will not be mowed by our contractor until it reaches a height above 12".

This vacant lot looks very overgrown especially along the west side of the lot. Please check this again to see if it needs to be mowed by the city contractor because the property owner NEVER mows it. Thank you.

Habitat and Thrivent placed a Little Library at Gooch Park.
Please remove due to vandals keep wrecking it.
Had taken door off a while ago. Now recently removed the wood from structure. They always disrespected this Little Library by throwing books all over park.
