Hello, there are three branches that have fallen off upper levels of two trees in the Brynwood Housing area Nature Area and are caught up in the lower branches of the same trees. They haven't fallen fully down with the winds lately, but they seem to be hanging directly above the sidewalk. Is there any way to have them removed?

The button going from the neighborhoods to the Parking lot doesn't work. Not a huge deal but a cop yelled at me for jay walking so I thought I'd see about getting it fixed.

    1. Lowes is doing after 11 pm night time work, (using loud engines, cutting grass and or cleaning their parking place) during the night time. This is highly disruptive to the neighbors' sleeping in the homes and the entire residential neighborhood behind this store.

    2. Also Lowes has been doing excessive honking, 12-16 times every time, once every 2 or 3 minutes, during the day. This is highly disruptive to the day to day lives of people who live right behind the store. Some of us have to work from home, some of us work night shifts and have to sleep during parts of the day. Some of us have children who are sensitive to loud noise. And we can hear this constant honking through our closed windows too.

Lowes has not been interested in discussing this with us.

If the parking lots or street need swept, they need to be done during the day.
If the honking needs to happen, it does not need to be so excessive to drive the neighborhood crazy.

  • Marjorie Mae St State College, Pennsylvania, 16803 - Patton Township
On Marjorie Mae Street right at the corner of the park and the last row of townhouses is a circle for parking. At a drain at the sidewalk next to the townhouses is a growing depression. It was first a bit of grass sinking from the sidewalk. Now it's a a fairly wide area. This movement has been in the last 10 months, and seems rather quick.

This is the same spot reported 6 months ago. A crew came out over the winter and patched it, but unfortunately this patch was damaged within weeks by the plow. Thank you.

I think this might be a CRPR fix, but the flag on the flagpole is tattered and mostly missing. It is unrecognizable at this point. I'm not sure who would be in charge of replacing it, but if there is supposed to be a flag (assuming the flagpole is there to display one) there should be an intact flag displayed, out of respect for what it represents.
  • 1939 Norwood Ln Patton Twp, PA, 16803, USA - Park Forest Village
There is a large dead oak tree at 1939 Norwood Lane. It appears to have been dead for several years, and large limbs fall often. The tree partially overhangs the sidewalk and several students walk on that sidewalk to the bus and to school. It appears that the house has not been occupied in several months. Something should be done to address this potential hazard.

  • 1939 Norwood Ln Patton Twp, PA, 16803, USA - Park Forest Village
There is a large oak tree at 1939 Norwood Lane that has been dead for several years and large branches have recently been falling off the tree. I am worried that someone is going to get hurt. Several school children walk past the tree every day to get to/from the school bus stop. I think the house was a rental, but it has been empty for several months.

more of a speeding issue where cars normally drive over 25 mph (seen young ones racing in cars on Ambleside up the hill). kids live on this street and many walk in this area to access the Ambleside park. would not be surprised if someone got run over due to driver negligence.

don't know what the solution to this problem is.
