Other Archived26 South Avenue Whitman, MA - WhitmanEmployee of DD, asking to be anonymous, complained that conditions were extremely hot at drive through window while working. Also said not allowed to drink while working.
I called the manager and informed her of anonymous complaint. she said that the help cannot eat or drink while serving public but they do have a table in the back where they can keep food and drink. It has been unusually hot this week and manager has asked the help to close the drive through window between customers to control the heat coming in. -

Dear Alexis Andrews,
As per our conversation today today, could you please inform me if I need any Permits from the town , basically to park a commercial truck Ram 5500 , with a dumpster on the back which I use for personal and business use.
I have recently opened a new business, Ideal Disposal LLC, my Ein# 82-2768056.
I have a LLC license through the state of Mass.
This business is a household clean out and dumpster service. The dumpster will be filled at the job site , then brought to a local recycling transfer facility, and empty prior to being parked on my property.
Secretary of State William Galvin office advised me that I do not have to Register with the town being a LLC , I just wanted to check with you, the Town of Whitman Board of Health , to see if any permits are needed through the town . Could you please advise Me of anything needed .Sincerely,
IDEAL DISPOSAL LLC

Suspected Rabies Archived284 Franklin Street Whitman, MA - WhitmanOn 8/15/17 the BOH received a phone call from Whitman VCA saying that a resident brought her two cats in that had come in contact with a bat that got into house.

Customer saw a bug in magazine Archived682 Bedford Street Whitman, MA - WhitmanA woman, by the first name only, Jennifer called in (6/1/17) to the BOH and complained that while she was in there a couple of days ago, prior to calling in, she was waiting for her take out food and picked a magazine from a stack of them on shelf and noticed what she thought was a cockroach.
I went to the Waikiki House after receiving this phone call and spoke with both owners, Mr. and Mrs. Chan. They were extremely upset to hear this complaint and immediately threw the magazines out stating that they were real estate free magazines that are dropped off periodically and set on side shelf in restaurant eating area. Mr. Chan informed me that he treats for insects on schedule and showed me the container stored in back room. They were going to treat tonight when they close since they are closed tomorrow.
I did call the woman back that had left a message to inform her that the magazines most likely brought in the insect and that the restaurant was clean and inspected, maybe could use an update, but clean.
