  • 4505 Enchanted Ln Mound, Minnesota, 55364 - Shorewood
The property at 4505 Enchanted Lane have been dumping their grass clippings, fall leaves, branches and twigs on the other side of the road from their property next to the lake. You'll see at least 1.5 years worth all along the road/bog. Additionally they are dumping their dog waste in the back of their yard along the snowmobile trail, just feet from the lake. Both of these are public property. Finally, they have an unlicensed wolf living on their property.
  • Vine Hill Rd Excelsior, Minnesota, 55331 - Shorewood
Will the sidewalk on Vine Hill be plowed soon? This is a very widely used walkway and currently it is very difficult to use with all of the snow.
  • 25165 Glen Rd Excelsior, Minnesota, 55331 - Shorewood
Two drainage grates in the cul de sac are covered by ice/snow. We dug these out this morning to ensure they were open and visible. The snow truck covered them up when they went through later in the morning. Now, it's too much for us to dig and open up the grate. The cul-de-sac is filling with water with no outlet. Request is to have someone scrape out the ice/snow from the 2 drainage grates before it ices over to a nice skating rink

Axle weight sign blocks sight line to the right when stopped at stop sign. Potentially post elsewhere or at least fix the angle so it is parallel to the roadway?? Thanks in advance. Gerhardt Mahling

We do not understand why this property has a smoldering crap fire everyday in their fireplace. Continuous exposure to smoke can have various health implications, especially for children, the elderly, and those with respiratory conditions. Furthermore, the lingering smoke affects the enjoyment of our outdoor spaces and the overall ambiance of our neighborhood. We are sick of smelling the smoke coming from this property day and night.
  • 27015 Edgewood Rd Excelsior, MN 55331, USA - Shorewood
This curve indication sign serves no purpose whatsoever in this location. Why does it remain dangerously close to the road?

Snow plow has not plowed our street since it started snowing this year.

Speed limit sign left in front of our house at 19795 Muirfield Circle last night. I think it is from the east side of Market Blvd just north of Muirfield.
  • 5931-5969 Strawberry Ln Shorewood, MN, 55331, USA - Shorewood
Extreme speeding down Strawberry Lane. Stop sign needs to be added at Peach or Strawberry Court. This is becoming more dangerous that it was prior to having a side walk. This is now a straight shot highway vs a quiet side street. Unexpectable.

There was recently some work done on a fire hydrant on Eureka Road between Maple View Court and Valleywood Lane. The road was broken up and not completely filled in. There is a large pothole that needs to be filled in. Ideally, that whole section of road would be re-paved rather than just filled in with stone.

A big thank you to the crew on Ivy Lane right now picking up a big pile of debris that came down during the storm over the weekend!
  • Grant Lorenz Rd & Wild Rose Ln Shorewood, MN, 55331, USA - Shorewood
Please consider adding stops signs to make the intersection of Grant Lorenz and Wild Rose a 3-way stop. The angle of the intersection and the beautiful trees lining the streets make visibility terrible from both Grant Lorenz (going north) and Wild Rose, and southbound cars on Grant Lorenz often fly through without slowing or signaling turns, making it particularly hazardous for cars turning left from Wild Rose.

I finally found that I could go to the cable website to get the last council meeting. Why is the city no longer posting them on a timely basis on the website? The 9/11 meeting video is up and ready but not on the city site. A former commission member guided me to where I might be able to find it. We live on the islands, so coming to meetings isn't convenient and when there is a subject I am interested in I count on the meeting video. It used to be prompts but the last couple I have looked for have not been. One was a month later. Thank you for fixing this.

Thank you to the public works guys who were able to answer a question when I stopped by on the street yesterday. I had tried to call City Hall on numerous occasions but the phone just rang into voicemail. I didn't leave a message figuring I would call back since I was out and hard to reach. But each time I call it's a recording. Do we still have real people answering phones or has the city gone to all VM? Again, thank you to the guys for your resident service!

I am concerned that the city is not taking the drought seriously. They were required to restrict the watering of residents but chose 1 p.m. to let gallons of water run down the street during hydrant flushing. Any chance the city could attempt to follow its own rules? I am following drought conditions and even upcoming rain will not make up for our groundwater situation. Please do better.
