    It's 5:28am right now, sunrise was at 5:18am. I am trying to enjoy a nice early morning walk through the Riparian Preserve before it gets too warm and all the gates are still closed. Why are these gates even closed every night? What's the point? Strictly to annoy people like me who want to get out early before the heat? This is seriously frustrating because the Riparian is a beautiful park that's wonderful to walk at. What's also annoying is the rangers driving their big trucks up and down the paths. Can't they get a bike? Or better yet, like I said just don't even lock these gates. There's no point to it except to inconvenience early risers.
