    this semi truck constantly Parks here taking up several parking spots and also spots that are parking. this person lives in Whiting across the street and parks on one side or the other whatever is available. Across the street there is a sign that clearly says no truck parking how come no one gives this person a ticket this is a constant thing it's called a parking violation it's against the law give them a ticket already it makes it very hard for the rest of us to park where we live

    What will it take to get this building into compliance and its derelict absentee owner and its tenants to stop throwing their garbage all over the alley? It just gets thrown on the ground and is blown away. The building still is an eyesore with rotting windows.

    Loud argument involving 20-30 youth on the street about 11pm on 10/09. May have been a gang problem. Police arrived and dispersed. Youths were mouthy and combative towards law enforcement and only complied after repeated threats of jail. Later throughout the night there were at least 4 more incidents involving people loudly arguing, dumping trash, revving car engines, slamming car doors and speeding the wrong way on Center Street after that, one particularly loud argument at 1:45am. This is an ongoing problem in part due to people parking on Center Street at night and walking into the park. Calling 911 seems futile. The operators ask the same questions 2-3 times and waste time asking for caller's identity, location, (which gets confused with the location of the incident) and phone (which they have).

    Basketball hoop has been there for five years unused and falls over threatening passing autos or potentially injuring pedestrians. Fence is falling down and garage has junk autos in it. Garage is also missing downspouts. This building is owned by a derelict absentee landlord who owns at least six other building in Whiting, ALL of which are problems in the community
