The duration of the left turn light from fuller rd onto maiden lane has been drastically shortened in the past few weeks to the point where only 2-3 cars can make it through (usually with the 3rd car turning on yellow). This is an intersection where 6-8 cars are regularly waiting so it now takes 2-3 cycles to make it through the light. It is dangerous to shorten to this degree, as cars have started to just run the light when it turns red.

I am writing to you as a concerned parent and resident, regarding the significant and ongoing inconvenience caused by the current road closures on Forest Ave, between Willard St and Hill St, as well as on E University Ave, between Willard St and S University Ave. These closures have directly impacted the accessibility of Towsley Children's House, making it exceedingly difficult for parents and guardians like myself to safely and efficiently drop off and pick up our children.

The absence of a clear and accessible route due to these closures is not only an inconvenience but also poses a safety risk by creating unnecessary congestion in adjacent areas as drivers attempt to navigate alternative routes. The lack of proper access is unacceptable and requires immediate attention.

I urgently request that the city government take prompt action to alleviate this problem. It is imperative that at least one lane going north on Forest Ave be kept open to allow for vehicles to exit the drop-off location at Towsley Children's House. This provision is crucial to prevent back-ups and ensure a smooth flow of traffic, especially during peak hours when families are dropping off or picking up their children.

The road closures have been a substantial impediment for many families and are not reflective of the efficient and responsible management of city infrastructure we expect to see. The current situation suggests a lack of planning for the impact of road work on the local community, and specifically on the families and staff of Towsley Children's House.

I appeal to your sense of responsibility towards the city's residents and request that immediate measures be taken to address this issue. We need a solution that does not compromise the safety and accessibility of our children's educational facilities. Please treat this matter with the urgency it warrants and keep us informed about the steps being taken to rectify the situation.

Kudos to the crew who mowed Redwood Park today! They did an excellent job. They mowed and weed whacked in the same visit. Normally that does not happen. Just the mowing so the curbs and the tree bases don't get done. It looks great today. Please do both mowing and weed whacking everytime. Thanks!

Streetlight out

Between Platt and Easy St, the seam of the road has small potholes. It really requires to be re-done. I have seen cars slightly lose control of their cars when they hit that seam. It makes ppl drive in the bike lane or closer to center lane to avoid [that seam]. It's not safe.

The signal lights at this intersection have changed and the left turn light is much too short in all directions. At best 2 cars can get through. Please change the timing on this light!!

PLEASE do something. Piles of yard debris here for years.

There is a build up of vegetation on the corner of Huron river drive and main street. It is a large pile of branches.
