For three weeks I’ve been calling stormwater department about massive flooding at the corner of 13th Ave., South and 5th St., South. It’s not just the street it’s my entire yard gets flooded and last time I lost a lot of expensive plants because of the pollution from the street coming into my yard. I’ve left multiple messages on the general answering machine at the stormwater departmentAnd this morning I had the mayors office give me a managers number, at least I presume they did that’s what I asked for, and I left her a message. Still no response. This is probably not the proper venue for this but I don’t know what else to do since no one will call me back and it’s been many weeks and multiple phone calls.

With the excessive amount of shootings going on around St Pete currently there really needs to be more notifications posted on local websites in the newspaper and wherever if there’s going to be fireworks displays in the middle of the week for no apparent reason. Those of us in the shooting zones don’t know if we are about to be shot and if we’re supposed to drop to the floor or if those are fireworks. The city needs to give more notification of any fireworks display that’s going to be happening outside of a holiday. Either that or stop the excessive amount of shootings happening in the city but I don’t think that’s gonna happen anytime soon

The “Mayors action center“ closed the complaint about scooters being left not in their corrals by telling us were supposed to call the police department. Obviously police department will not and cannot do anything about a scooter that’s just left someplace since they have no person to attach the problem to. The police are for criminal matters. Scooters being left where they don’t belong is “a mayor’s action center” issue. As a matter of fact nothing could be more of a mayors action center issue. Since you know and we know the police cannot do anything about scooters not put back in their corrals as OUR mayors office please tell us what we should do? Thank you.
