Folks in my neighborhood are growing increasingly concerned about the crosswalk where Lessey meets Triangle street in Amherst.

This crosswalk is particularly harrowing for pedestrians crossing west-to-east as cars are turning a blind corner and coming down Triangle (south) heading to Main street. This is especially so at dusk or at night. Hundreds of folks cross this street everyday including, ARHS students, children, and families.

This seems like a perfect place for a rapid flashing beacon that pedestrians can trigger when crossing.
