    Can you please cut the asphalt to allow more soil exposure for the tree? I have noticed that the city has been making long and narrow spaces for the newly planted trees, and I believe our street tree can benefit from that! The opening can remain as wide as it is now, of course - to not take from the sidewalk width, but can be made longer to the right and left of the tree (when facing the curb). Please help! I can be reached to discuss if you need to - I am the owner of the house at 217 and it was at my request that the city planted this tree about 8 years ago. Thank you so much! Simona

    The DPW on Tremont St. Has been doing construction and dropping cinder blocks that make the whole house shake. It’s been going on for a week for hours every day. Our neighbors from the whole street are complaining. We are very concerned about the impact it has on our house foundations!

    Trucks from Royal Hospitality services on Webster Street are driving through our street at high-speed and are breaking the tree canopies. It is also unsafe for pedestrians and children on our street and It generates a fair amount of noise at all hours of the morning, day, and night.

    The DPW is making noises on Sunday morning at 6:20AM. I understand that the city has a clause for city trucks to make noise before 7 AM if there’s an emergency (eg. snow), but clearly there was none today 10/7/18

    THANK YOU, City of Cambridge for cleaning the roads of the winter debris!!!!! I am a daily bike commuter and was struggling to remain safe on roads that were scattered with winter/snow debris. I was very pleasantly surprised this week when Columbia St (part of my commute) was clean!!!!

    Cars drive very fast on our little street and it is very dangerous. There are old people and also children living on the street and playing outside. It would be helpful to have a speedbump built like the one on Lincoln St and Columbia Street. We live on Elm Street near the intersection with Lincoln Street.
