    Side door to the school on Commodore Joshua Barney Road is open. This allows access to anyone including homeless and vagrants in the neighborhood. This is an environmental concern as they go to the bathroom, leave trash, and leave drug needles.

    Traveling NE on South Dakota towards Bladensburg there is a huge issue with left turns onto southbound Bladensburg. Drivers are regularly making left turns in morning heavy traffic when it is posted that no left turns are permitted. It is posted that no left turns (very small sign on the corner) are allowed from 7AM to 9:30 AM. I have had a number of close calls at this location with my children in the car. Others have been honking at illegal left turners to no avail. I propose improved signage and increased police monitoring/ ticketing to mitigate the problem.
