Help! Since Tamarack has been opened all the way from Fox Hill to Metro Pkwy, Tamarack has become a drag strip. Cars utilize Tamarack to bypass construction and traffic lights on Mound. Since the city appears to be adverse to installing speed bumps, can stops signs be installed at the corner of Noll and Tamarack as well as Paris and Tamarack? Both Paris and Noll dead end into Tamarack and there are no stop signs at either intersection. Stop signs would serve two purposes - one is to slow the traffic on Tamarack and second is to make the intersections safer as no one comes to a complete stop at the intersections if Noll and Paris. Metro Pkwy condition from Dequindre to Mound is atrocious I realize it is maintained by the county Does the city have any leverage with the county so they will fix the roads? Can the city contract with the county so that the city maintains the county roads within the city limits?

I used to receive a weekly email (from police dept?) that listed the crimes in the area Has this been discontinued If so, I would really appreciate it if the emails were resumed ?

Bushes/Vines growing out over the street. Probably extends 4 feet into the lane.

The city Locust tree along the street has grown so large it is now growing into my spruce tree. Am I allowed to trim the city tree?

Since Tamarack has been extended all the way through to Fox Hill the traffic on Tamarack has increased substantially. Tamarack is also used by Mound southbound traffic to avoid the traffic light at Metro Pkwy. At a minimum, a yield sign needs to be installed at the corner of Tamarack and Noll. I would actually prefer that it be made a 3-way stop since the school bus picks up at that corner. When Mound construction commences it will exacerbate the problem.

Two potholes to report. One at the intersection of Noll St and Tamarack. The other one is on Noll St. just west of Mound Rd.

Numerous potholes at the intersection of Tamarack and Noll. Also a large pothole where Tamarack T's into Metro Parkway.

My fears have now been realized. Tamarack Drive is now a race track. Last year, Tamarack was opened all the way from Metro Parkway to Fox Hill and as more people realize this, Tamarack is being used as a shortcut from Fox Hill to Metro Parkway. Using this shortcut, people can miss the traffic lights on Mound as well as the traffic light at the intersection of Mound and Metro Parkway. It is not unusual to see cars traveling at an estimated 50 mph down the street. It is only a matter of time before a child is hit or there is an accident at intersections on Tamarack and Noll or Paris. Strong consideration should be given to installing speed bumps or a a minimum 3-way stop signs at the Paris and Noll intersections.

Trash not picked up. The trash on the east side of the 3700 block of Tamarack was picked up early this morning. The west side of the street still has not been touched.

With the recent storms, I had many small limbs, etc. that I cut up and put into regular 32 gallon trash cans. Knowing that the yard waste collection does not begin until next month, I set them out with this mornings regular trash. They were not collected along with the regular household trash. Does this mean that I have to hold on to these two trash cans full of yard waste until next month?

Since Tamarack Drive is now a thru street all the way from Foxhill to Metro Parkway, is any consideration being given to installing stop signs at the corners of Tamarack and Noll and Tamarack and Paris? Noll and Paris traffic rolls through the intersections with Tamarack. Accidents waiting to happen.

Inoperative trailer mounted speed limit display/sign. The mobile sign that is supposed to display the speed of oncoming vehicles has not worked since in was left on our street 3-4 days ago.
