    This is a city related concern for the mayor regarding spending. First who authorized the city to provide outdoor heaters to downtown businesses? Second who authorized the installation of the bike lanes on Wilson at a time when bike use was ending? My reason for asking is that after a very short time, outdoor eating has ended and the bike lane poles have been removed for the winter. At a time when we should be cutting back on spending, we are waisting money for what?

    The situation this weekend at the transfer station leaf drop off is totally unacceptable. The city has allowed the debris to overflow to the point cars cannot get on the property to unload. Cars have been backed up to Highland Ave causing a serious traffic safety issue. The city worker monitoring the operation was forced to park the city vehicle on Swampscott rd. If the city cant operate it safely then you should close it and offer weekly curb pickup. What a disgrace.

    Can someone please explain what those new things are along the bike path on Fort ave. Today I saw workers installing small black markers every few feet to the road. Are we going to keep doing things to these bike lanes over and over. Enough is enough. Why do we take every penney the state gives in grants even if it makes no sense in Salem.

    Monday 11-9-20 415pm Wilson rd is gridlocked and backed up onto Highland ave. No bikes anywhere in sight. What a complete failure on the part of the city to restrict traffic flow on that road. Great job. Maybe we could put up a toll booth

    Are the taxpayers paying for the heaters being distributed to restaurants downtown . If so how can the city justify this without helping every other business that has been affected by Covid. This along with those silly bike lanes are a slap in the face to taxpayers who have to deal with ridiculous road conditions and other issues on a regular basis.

    Vacant lot with yard waste and debris dumped illegally. B of H ordered owner to clean this property. On 7/24 owner cut down weeds, cleaned up trash and put up signs saying cameras are watching. Owner did not clean up yard waste and other debris on his property. Illegal dumping will certainly continue if property is not maintained properly. Please have owner clean his property.
