    Could we please get an update as to the status of the installation of the new traffic signal that is supposed to be installed by year-end? At the city/neighborhood meeting held at the library in the spring, we were told the city was just waiting on parts ordered, but no progress has taken place since at the location. Please advise.     The streetlight between 63-65 Ellery St has done little for safety because of the tree branches that are blocking the light. It made it very dark, but as of today, the light is now completely out and it is now pitch black. Please pass on to the proper departments to prune back the tree and also replace the light.     I know the city is on-track for installation of a new traffic signal at Broadway and Ellery, but here is a good reason to try move it along to get it installed as soon as possible. This happened last evening, and there are bound to be more. It’s my understanding it may take another 4-6 months at least before it’s completed. Thanks.

    I see at least one car driving the wrong way each day and noticed that there is no indication that Ellery St between Broadway and Harvard is a one way when you enter at Broadway.

    See issue # 3661272, 69-105 Ellery St. Another accident occurred this evening at the intersection of Broadway and Ellery involving three vehicles. This time it happened within seconds of my husband with our dogs leaving the crosswalk. I first reported the need for a traffic signal more than a year ago. This accident hit too close to home and I have to say had I been here, I would have recommended to all parties involved to seek legal advise against the city for dragging their feet on rectifying the problem at this intersection. The city's original commitment was to have a traffic signal installed by the end of this year. What are you going to do if someone gets killed before then in another accident?

    My neighbors and I are just checking on the status of issue # 3408377. The last comment by the city stated a traffic light will be installed by the end of the year. Since there appears to have been at least three more accidents, I just wanted to check to be sure this work is still on-track to be completed by year-end. Please advise. Thanks.

    1. When is the tragic light coming???
    2. When is the trash barrel being replaced that was taken out by an accident last year???

    This is the sixth accident that I've been home to witness at this intersection since I moved here in March and the city still thinks no traffic light is warranted? How many more have to happen before something is done????

    Once again From my office, I witness a close call where a pedestrian was nearly struck by a vehicle turn from Ellery onto Broadway. Throughout the day, there are close calls and horns beeping constantly, and as you know, many accidents have happened at this intersection. Changing the timing of the Trowbridge signal will not resolve this problem. A traffic light is needed at the intersection of Ellery and Broadway.
