***THIRD REQUEST***. There is a stormater drain/ trench that goes from our street, through our property, and empties behind the Ten Quivera shopping center. This drain is inadequate for the amount of storm water it must carry, and with every heavy rain there is excessive flooding into our yard and our neighbors yard, causing damage to our foundation. As stated above, this is our third request submitted within the last year, and we have received no response and are unaware of any actions on the citys part to mitigate this flooding issue. If there is something we can do to help, or if we need to sumbit this request a different way, please contact us so we at least know our requests are being received. Thank you for your time! There is an open concrete channel / storm drain that runs down the edge of my property line that was put in some time ago(decades?) by the City when my wife's grandparents lived there. It collects all the water for the entire cul-de-sac and Halsey St, as it all flows downhill directly to it. It cannot handle the amount of water and it turns into a rushing body of water that extends well into my yard and comes too close to the foundation. The grade on that side yard is significantly sloped away from the house, yet I'm still taking in a lot of water into the basement through minor cracks due to the water level coming so close.

I am asking for the city to please make the channel deeper or wider, or whatever adjustments necessary (underground?) to fix this problem. To my knowledge it is the only drainage point for the entire area and it's just too small for the amount of water it takes on.

Thank you for the consideration and we certainly would appreciate any urgency in your attention to this matter.
