    This is an exclusive pedestrian phase but the signal for pedestrians crossing river street do not come on when the pedestrian signal for memorial drive is shown. There is no conflicting traffic. Note that the yellow arrow shows the pedestrian signal for crossing memorial and the orange arrow shows the don't walk crossing river street.

    Please advise DCR.

    The leading pedestrian interval on this signal is required to be activated by a push button. Please tell DCR this is a safety issue and that any time when a bit of vehicle throughout could be gained from not having an LPI there occurs at times when there is heavy bike/ped traffic. This should be an automatic LPI at all times for bike path traffic.

    The walk signal going northbound across third street on the east side of the light at Broadway/third does not display a walk signal as long as it should. There is about a 15 second period where a "don't walk" is displayed yet there is no conflicting movement. Please assure this light is properly timed.
