    Before the recent temporary detour of traffic from Anclote rd was set up, a large detour sign was laid down in the grass and never used. Therefore at the end of construction project, same sign was never picked up with the others. It is still laying there.

    JERU BLVD IS A SHORT, QUIET, RESIDENTIAL ROAD ON THE WAY TO THIS LOCATION AND SURROUNDED ON EITHER SIDE BY INDUSTRIAL, MIXED USE AND RESIDENTIAL ZONES.
    THIS ROUTE IS TAKEN BY CITY AND COUNTY OWNED TRUCKS AS WELL AS, INDUSTRIAL OWNED AND OF COURSE, PRIVATELY OWNED VEHICLES

    DRIVERS OF THESE LARGE TRUCKS AND AVERAGE MOTORISTS MAY NOT CONSIDER AS THEY PASS THAT, JERU BLVD WHCH, HAS NO SIDEWALKS, HAS CHILDREN, BICYCLISTS, AND DOG WALKERS TRAVELING IT EVERY, SINGLE, DAY.

    WHEN THESE LARGE VEHICLES OR EXTREME SPEEDERS PASS THROUGH THE AREA THE WIND FORCE AGAINST A PERSON WALKLING ALONG THE EDGE OF THE ROAD CAN BE QUITE STRONG AND EVEN, CONSIDERED DISRESPECTFUL TO THOSE CHILDREN, BICYCLISTS AND DOG WALKERS WHO LIVE IN THE AREA AND HAVE NO OTHER AVAILABLE PATH TO THEM.

    JERU BLVD HAS A SPEED LIMIT OF 25 MILES PER HOUR AND IT ONLY TAKES A FEW SECONDS TO GET DOWN THIS SHORT STRETCH OF ROAD.

    PLEASE TAKE A MOMENT TO CONSIDER THE SAFETY AND WELFARE OFNEIGHBORS IN THIS AREA AS DRIVERS HEAD TO THEIR LOCAL DESTINATION WHEN TRAVELING THIS “SHORT LITTLE STRETCH” OF A COMMUNITY BOULEVARD.

    Pit bull allowed to run loose at place of business at end of Tarpon Ind Cir., gets loose every two weeks or so and is often seen at the intersection of Pinellas Ave and Rainville Rd in Tarpon Spsgs.

    There was a 25 MPH sign on one end of the street. Then it got knocked down then it got moved to the other end of the street, then it got knocked down again. Regardless, there are children, bikers and dog walkers on this road every single day and drivers fly at ridiculous speeds every day. We need two speed limit signs or speed breakers or enforcement watching them.
    Currently the speed limit sign is on the ground.
