The 30 Kms sign would have a better chance of being adhered too by traffic if it were visible through all the tree branches surrounding the front side and back if the sign

The speeding on Agnes in front of Qayqayt Elementary school is out of control There are 2 signs hidden that indicate the 30kmh law Can you please paint on the road, school zone 30 kmh

City of NW employee vehicles, trans link, courier companies and regular people in their cars that are avoiding Royal Ave traffic are speeding down this street constantly

I hope that at prime time Monday morning g aka walking to school hour, that the city has prioritized to clear & salt the sidewalks on Royal from mcbride to dufferin amd the patullo on-ramp crosswalk vs the duck pond in Victoria hill for snow / ice clearing. Many kids walk this route. The duck pond sidewalk is not a priority over this route. I’d hate to see someone (child or adult) take a fall on City property.

The sidewalk across and over the patullo bridge is a sheet of ice. Icy sidewalks from mcbride & Royal to suffer in & Royal.
  • 30 Royal Ave New Westminster V3L 1G6, Canada - New Westminster
Crosswalk in Royal to the patullo bridge extremely icy in the shade. Kids walk here to school and already have to deal with cars and semi trucks not running them down. We don’t need to add slipping and falling to the game of chance we’re already playing.

Abandoned house leaves all over sidewalk. Freezing making this down slope sidewalk an ice rink. Kids and parents walk here everyday to school.

Drug needles that are used and new. Alcohol packages and plain old crap have been left behind from someone’s busy evening last night. This donation bin is nothing but an invitation for vagrants to come rooting through and stealing stuff and sleeping next to and now doing drugs at.
This is the donation bin in Victoria hill at Ross & Royal.

Water is spewing out of the crack of the asphalt and the concrete curb. It’s bubbling which leads me to believe it’s under pressure in the pipes? Beginning to leak down the road. Probably going to freeze overnight.

Someone has broken into the generator at the pump station. They’ve taken out some wires (copper probably) and they’ve out the chain and lock back up as if to disguise the fact they broke in, but the doors were left open. I have more pictures but can only attach one.

What’s the point of having this flagger (last week and today) when all he does literally all day long is sit inside his running truck. He’s never outside at the crosswalks managing trucks. The other flangers were brilliant and did their jobs. This guy though, he’s doing nothing. Why pay for nothing?

This is for the intersection of Mcbride Blvd and Royal Ave truck traffic.

  • 1–9 Royal Ave New Westminster V3L, Canada - New Westminster
The house in the corner of Leopold place and Royal Avenue needs to cut back their hedges so they don’t take over half of the sidewalk. Only room for one person, anyone else needs to get wet feet going into the grass.

It’s baby duck season right now and the babies are falling into the storm drains. Luckily someone was able to reach down and save five baby ducks just now. Can we get some chicken wire or similar put across all the drains in Victoria hill?

Since the city has the routed truck traffic off front street up to Royal avenue now the least they could do is have someone at the intersection of Mcbride & Royal to enforce the safety road rules. These trucks are taking up both lanes because they’re lazy and cannot maneuver their trucks into turning within their own lanes. And they are running all the Red traffic lights because they don’t want to stop. Also witnessed this morning one truck refusing to stop and give “space” for a mother and her buggy and toddler and dog time to cross the street during their walk signal. We have many many children and parents walking to and from school. If having to cross Royal at the phyllo on ramp wasn’t bad enough as is we now have to deal wth Mcbride & Royal semi truck red light runners and lane hogs.

Construction vehicles are continuing to park on all the designated 2 hour street parking even though they have an empty lot to park in. This mornings pet peeve is the Villa Roofing pick up on East Royal who squeezed himself in between two other cars by parking the rear end of his car up onto the sidewalk. The only time we see parking services bylaws officers here is on Sunday when it's residents only. Not fair.
